UPDATE
Our numbers are growing!
A BIG Thanks to all my fellow Ohio FReepers who showed up for the Support Our Troops rally at the Worthington Green today March 22.
We will be meeting again (same place, same time)Saturday, March 29 at noon, Worthington Green (corner of 161 and High) Worthington Ohio.
Please don't confuse us with the anti war, anti troops group. We usually take the NW corner. If you Support the Troops and their mission, get out there and let them know it!
After the rally today, a young man in a US Army uniform stopped us as we were on our way back to our cars. He thanked us personally for being out there and showing our support. This is what it's all about!!! I am honored to have had the opportunity to meet this young man, shake his hand and thank him for helping to fight for FREEDOM.
If you enjoy your FREEDOM, be there to show your Support. Support Our TROOPS and their mission OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM.
From EVERY Mountain side. LET FREEDOM RING!!!

Way to go, Ohio! I'm in Texas now, but am originally from Toledo. Keep up the good work. I hope that you are heard loud and clear across the state and that the inactive ones who agree with you become active - you need to clean house with your politicians. Maybe this will be what spurs the change.

This group shot for some reason did come out too well. This was after our presence scared off the anti's. LOL.

Thank you PRO-AMERICA OHIO and Jim for putting the rally together and letting FR know about it.
We need more folks out there. The anti-war folks take every corner. We were on the NW corner and the anti-war people left after a little over an hour.
Once we were the only ones there the horn honks and thumbs up increased dramatically. Late in the day a couple and two young boys (early teens?) showed up to rally the troops and took the SW corner.
And rally they did. The woman's name is Judi and she was very entertaining.
Folks, please add your comments to this thread, I can't remember everything. :)
I recall when traffic was stopped at the light a car was at the corner with some dogs in it and Judi hollered "You know you dogs are treated better than women in Iraq?, Sure you are!"
She was so funny. At one point a small group of anti-war folks were coming up across the street, long after the others had left and Judi marched across the street hollering, "Isn't freedom great, isn't America wonderful that we can voice our opinion..." I can't remember exactly but you get the drift. They were silent and kept on walking when I heard her yell to her husband (I presume), "That was too easy."

Hi Tony, what a pleasure it was meeting you yesterday. Freepers are such good people, and clean too. LOL.
See you next week.
