Polish Special Ops help take oil terminal?

Just heard on Fox News that the Navy SEAL team that captured an offshore Iraqi oil terminal was assisted by Polish special ops, presumably from this unit. But then I forgot that this is a unilateral American action. Never mind.

I think that is fantastic. Was very impressed with Poland when they offered troops and glad to see them in action with our military!

In fact, we could probably use all the SpecOps soldiers we can get, if they can be quickly trained to work with combat air controllers.

One problem we face is that war is changing faster than we can change our armed forces. When you can deliver 200-2000# bombs with the precision of a tank round (or better), it calls into question most of what armies do.

Plus, bombers go at 500mph irrespective of terrain. Makes stopping development of Crusader (a new mobile howitzer) look like yet another good call from Rumsfeld.

Our SOF conduct field training exercises with the Special Forces of allied, strategic countries,particularly new democracies.I'm sure this is not the first time our guys have been together with the Polish SF. Glad to see that New Europe is having a hand in this.We will remember those countries that had our back and those that stabbed us in the back.
