Bush Gives Dixie Chicks 48 Hours To Flee U.S.

In a televised address, a somber President Bush stated that, having exhausted all efforts of diplomacy, the country signing group Dixie Chicks had 48 hours to flee the country. “I can either wait for them to aggresively attack me again or take preemptive action. I am entitled to the latter since I am after all the president of the United States,” Bush said from the east room of the White House.

Bush explained that despite a public apology from lead singer Natalie Maines, it was too little too late. “She only made a half ass apology after several days of demands to do so. She’s just trying to string along the media with this manipulation," Bush claimed. The president also issued a warning to anyone who may assist the popular female trio. “Do not aid or abet them or you will be considered an enemy of the state as well,” Bush said. The group’s manager said they’re mulling an offer to become expatriates in Paris.

The President later tempered his remarks and modified his deadline.

"The 48-hour deadline still stands for two of the three Dixie Chicks," he said, "but I've decided to give the fat broad an additional 24 hours because there's no way in hell someone with that much junk in her trunk is gonna get outta here any sooner than that."

Let's face the facts: the Dixie Chicks are very patriotic by comparison with such California illuminaries as Martin Sheen, Susan Sarandon, Sheryl Crow, and others. Has anyone got a complete list of these anti-Americans? What about at least a list of traitors, including Californian Sean Penn, the Baghdad Boys, and the banished traitors shielding Saddam's chemical weapons plants in Baghdad? This of course doesn't excuse the Vichy Twits, but some context is in order.

And by the way, it's high time that I endorse unilateral talks with Kim Jong Il, at a place of our choosing (Guantanamo Bay, Cuba).
