No, it's not enough to have posters, wave signs and chant.... let's shut down traffic and involuntarily involve everyone who is on the roads .... that will generate lots of sympathy for our cause.... < /saracasm>

Arrest, then take off the cuffs and toss 'em in the bay.
Repeat until all the swimming wears 'em out.

If they are lying under white bags and drivers can't see them, and just think that's a discarded white plastic bag lying in the road, and run right over them... is that wrong?

The Constitution says peaceful assembly. Not only that, the streets are owned by all and folks have a right to travel.
It's off to jail with you. I think we should put these folks in that contraption where your hands and head hang out in the Town Park. I do not find this cruel at all, simply a means of restraint with fresh air thrown in.

Like I always say on threads like this, if we let Mexican trucks on our highways the problem would be solved. Those trucks won't be able to stop.

A Freeper and a Liberal were seated next to each other on an airplane recently.
The Liberal turned to the FReeper and said, "Let's talk. I've heard that flights will go quicker if you strike up a conversation with your fellow passenger."
The FReeper, who had just opened his book, closed it slowly, sighed and said to the Liberal, "What would you like to discuss?"
"Oh, I don't know," said the Liberal. "How about Iraq?"
"OK," said the FReeper. "That could be an interesting topic. But let me ask you a question first.
"A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat grass. The same stuff. Yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns out a flat patty, and a horse produces clumps of dried grass. Why do you suppose that is?"
"Jeez," said the Liberal. "I have no idea."
"Well, then," said the FReeper, "How is it that you feel qualified to discuss Iraq when you don't know shit?

The business people in the area should be suing the pants off the organizers of this crap. Hit them in the pocketbook, get a judgment, and take their assets.

Credit where credit is due - the SFPD did a good job clearing these twits out today. I walked through there at 9:30 and there were no signs that there had ever been a protest.
