Though I do agree with this sentiment. You shoud remember that our boys over there are buried in US soil - We own the burial sites. It just happens to be surrounded by the CHEESE EATING, SURRENDER MONKEYS.

My congressman says Saddam can threaten US interests or our allies with nuclear or other mass destruction weapons capability. Perhaps the Chiraq opposition to the war and friendship with Iraq, and split with Nato, and division within the Sucurity Counsel is not unrelated. Puet-etre notre petit grenouille vend les armaments a son amis terroriste?

I think it has a lot to do with the amount of muslims living in thier country. I think ChrIraq is scared stiff becuase of France's abismal imigration policy that just lets evey tom, dick, and terrorist in the door.

Fance is or enemy only because we've been lazy about educating them. They are clearly sheeple in the grossest sense.

Let's mend our ways and provide a venue for widespread alternative programming, such as Fox News (ala francais) has done for us.

Concur. Note, however, the shoe bomber dude flying here from CDG Airport, Paris France, the torching of the Israeli Embassy in Paris last summer, the willingness of Chiraq to completely shred Nato, the EU and the UN security counsel on behalf of such a world class GOON like Sadam. What has been the quid pro quo? No doubt arms sales of an extraordinary capability, made by French companies. The fact that TotalFinaElf has oil contracts worth billions in Iraq, Iran, Syria, Libya - every sanctioned country - says that as a matter of public and commercial policy, French interests support nations and terrorist harboring tyrants who are also openly hostile to American interests. I am absolutely confident our forces will be facing an Iraqi foe, fully backed by French equipment and technology. In fact, I would not be surprised to see French Forces enter the war theatre, on the side of Hussain.

No.
France is not our ally.
France is our foe.
Truth. Deal with it.

"When was the last time france has saved us from an ambush? "

Took a while and I still can't figure this out -
WW 1&2 were certainly not ambushes, when they bailed from Vietnam and we walked in Kennedy knew what he was doing
( well, at least he knew what the situation was )
Unlike Dan Rather, I don't recall France knowing of a situation and not informing us.

Right. Someone posted a list of French products and companies once. Is that list handy? Some names, I recall, sounded pretty American.

Fuque the French! (Post 107)

Hehehe I wanted to post this same thing -- but I thought maybe it wouldn't post due to, uh, language content.

It's one thing to oppose a position, it's another thing entirely to actively participate in undermining a nation that shed it's blood for you. Go to Hell france!!!! ... (small "f")

"France is our foe."

Although I do not agree with France's statements or their actions regarding their attempts to stop the coming war, I believe we have an obligation to defend their right to say it.
Our system NEEDS oposition to it's actions
If they can convince week-kneed "allies" to reject us even after we have offered Billions of dollars, they must have a compelling argument.

It appears that some of the world has not learned that France has a very poor track record of deciding how their military should work or who to trust.

Fred Barnes while on the panel tonight on Special Report

Oh, Dog, I'm so glad you saw the program tonight. Did you see the very first question posed by Tony to the panel? He asked if this Azores meeting isn't in fact a "war council" and Fred Barnes was first to say "of course". The panel agreed.

Unfortunately for me I received a phone call and missed this particular revelation about France lobbying Turkey. Stunning and sickening and I thank you for alerting us.
