Secretary General Kofi Annan warned today that if the United States fails to win approval from the Security Council for an attack on Iraq, Washington's decision to act alone or outside the Council would violate the United Nations charter.Hold muh beer and watch this, Kofi!

Hmm, not breaking news. Covered by the networks hours ago. What's breaking news, LOL, is that the NYTimes only took 4 hours to get it on their website.

So the UN Charter says a tyrant like Hussein with clear intent to develop WMDs and use them is protected by the UN charter. I just wanted to get that on the record.
Has anyone noticed the UN doesn't seem to realize North Korea exists on this planet? Perhaps someone should slip Kofi a note.

"I double dog dare you to kick us out Kofi!"
More likely than not, Kofi Anan looks at a dog as a meal.
Better that WE kick the useless, God-foresaken U.N. OUT of our country.
This so-called "organization" has proven, time and again, that they are about as useless as teats on a boar. There is nothing that would indicate that things will change anytime soon.

Oh, no! Not that! What are they gonna do? Draft a resolution against us?
Sorry boys... if you wanna be irrelevant, fine. Just don't come crying to us when the rooster comes home to roost.

I was shocked, and after my wife applied CPR, was able to watch and listen to them say it not just once but twice. When so called "main stream" conservatives start making this call, El Rushbo can not be far behind. WOW.

Once again, Kofi Annan has shown determined leadership by stating today that the UN may decide that it might be time to conceivably give serious consideration to possibly thinking about maybe addressing the option of debating whether or not it should take under investigation the idea of pondering the question as to whether it should regard the exploration of perhaps taking under advisement the many alternatives of ways to actually do something as a possible course of action that may be potentially viable.

You know what's so funny about this? He made these remarks from across the big pond where he was attending yet another "U.N. negotiating session." Between Turkey and Cypress.
Thirty years and counting.
Isn't THAT encouraging?

Well ... Kristol brought up several good points about how France is totally undermining the U.S. - this is not how an ally treats you.

If anyone thinks France or Germany are allies, with Russia, Canada and Mexico not far behind, then you're a DU lurker. We need to set up a new series of bilateral agreements world wide. It's time to end the old "treaty" system which gets us to spend our money and especially our manpower to protect thugs and causes our morals do not believe in. And I repeat W's statement:
"You're either with us, or against us"
