"I think war is based in greed and there are huge karmic retributions that will follow. I think war is never the answer to solving any problems. The best way to solve problems is to not have enemies."

-- Harry Belafonte

"So when I see the American flag, I go, 'Oh my God, you're insulting me.'"

Talk about a Good Match for Hollywood Halfwits!

coverWhy does our popular culture seem so consistently hostile to the values that most Americans hold dear? Why does the entertainment industry attack religion, glorify brutality, undermine the family, and deride patriotism?

In this explosive book, Michael Medved examines how Hollywood has broken faith with its public, creating movies, television, and popular music that exacerbate every serious social problem we face, from teenage pregnancies to violence in the streets.

Note: Click book image to order. If it goes directly into your shopping cart, from the initial page, Amazon will contribute about a buck and a half to Hollywood Halfwits, if you shop around first, it's 1/3 of that. Every little bit helps. Thanks!

What I'm Working on...

  • Add more quotes to the current Halfwits, and create pages for new celebrities. I could use your help on actual quotes WITH LINKS for documentation.
  • Provide links for each celebrity's work and their contact information. (For now go to www.imdb.com, look up the artist and there will be link to their contact info (usually their agent).
  • I've got a few other things I'm coming up with...

Your title says: "Great source of misquotes"

If this is a great source of misquotes then why should we use it if it's inaccurate? What quotes are misquoted? Can you provide some evidence of the misquoting on this site so I can avoid this site?

I told my two kids who are away at college, DO NOT ATTEND Any "peace protests" or class walk-outs. I sent them a LOT of information about the Iraq war, and the Marxist/Stalinist/Communist groups who are organizing these anti-American protests. This is the reply I got back from my 18 year old son, Michael, at Texas Tech. University. I AM SO PROUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Michael says,

The anti-war celebrities are just like the French, they actually think their opinions matter.
