Yes, I saw this shortly after it came out.

I dismissed it at the time because Clinton had OK'd Clark's removal from NATO command. I figured wrongly that he would not run due to the baggage from that assignment and the rifts he caused in NATO.

I figure this guy has a grudge and wants to get even. He is not rowing with both oars.

From another thread you said:

"I hope he flames out like a bad firecracker. He is a dangerous man to have in power. If he get's close he will find the entire weight of his past crashing down on him. They have not even begun yet."

We'll see.

Wesley Clark to Flesh Out Policy in Four Major Speeches

..."As the nine contenders for the 2004 Democratic presidential nomination gathered in Phoenix on Thursday for their fourth debate, three companies -- Acxiom Corp., Entrust Inc. and the privately held WaveCrest Laboratories -- announced that Clark had resigned from their boards.

Clark was examining all his corporate ties, campaign spokeswoman Kym Spell said.

LOL! Just examining them now? Are his staff amateurs or what? Try this thread for starters!

I don't know if any of the speculation, guesses, and coincidence-connecting about Messer, Acxiom, etc., amounts to anything. But his son's Bosnian film adventure as documented in the Guardian - that should sell some papers! Everybody likes to hear stories about Hollywood...

I heard on Fox earlier Clark just became a Democrat yesterday.

I don't know what his supporters are thinking. Every week dumb things come out. Time-travel? Did you see the "speaking fee" problem? I don't blame Clark for that one, he should have advisers handling that stuff, experts on the laws. I feel sorry for him there.

Wes Clark is looking more and more goofy than ominous IMO, as some speculation for speculation’s sake says here.

But this Sacirbey character connected to Wes Clark Jr...he has a strange Soros connection too. Via a woman much in the press lately who is marrying a Dutch prince.

Sacirbey was the Bosnian foreign minister, later UN representative, involved in the allegedly shady movie deal, that Wes Clark, Jr. was connected too.

Sacirbey has been (for all I can tell) sitting in a New York jail since March 2003. Very little has been written about this.

His name popped up in a recent article involving Mabel Wisse Smit, a commoner marrying a Prince of the Netherlands. Her history was researched, and it was found that she had a romance 10 years ago with a well-known Dutch drug trade gangster. Turns out one of her other alleged affairs was Sacirbey.

For example:

Dutch prince renounces rights to throne over fiancee's tie to gangster

" Even Wisse Smit's relationship in the 1990s with the former Bosnian ambassador at the United Nations Muhamed Sacirbey -- then married and now accused of embezzling 2.5 million dollars from Bosnia's UN mission -- could not tarnish her perfect image in the eyes of the Dutch government.

There’s many articles on the web about her and Sacirbey, but they’re mostly in Dutch.

Here’s an article about her mentioning her connection to the “Open Society Institute” - the Soros operation of which Wesley Clark is a member. She is “Director” of the branch in Brussels.

Link

"Personal Information - Mabel Wisse Smit is born 11 august 1968, Pijnacker, The Netherlands. She is more than one month older than prince Johan Friso. She studied Political Science at the University of Amsterdam. Afterward she started working for the United Nations in New York. In her work, she soon became a specialist on Balkan issues. She had a close relationship with Muhamed Sacirbey, former ambassador for Bosnia at the United Nations, and former minister of foreign affairs in Bosnia. It is not known how far this relationship went. At the end of the nineties, she left New York for Brussels, and started to work for Open Society Institute, which is owned by the Hungarian millionaire George Soros. In Brussels, she befriended Laurentien Brinkhorst, and so she met prince Johan Friso.

And here's something from CNN

“...Wisse Smit, 35, an economics and political science graduate, has worked for the United Nations, the Open Society Institute -- part of Soros' network -- and a non-governmental organization promoting democracy and stability in the Balkans. ...”
Wisse Smit, Balkans, Sacirbey, Soros, Wes and Wes Jr.

More strange connections.

It's safe to say that Clark is a tool of the Clintons, a sock puppet.

But all the connections with Soros make him a scary little sock puppet...

Last week a Clark spokesman (read on a thread here) said the campaign was still looking at Wes' corporate connections.

Even if it is all innocent, doncha think they would have checked it months ago? His campaign people are amateurish.

"Even if it is all innocent, doncha think they would have checked it months ago? His campaign people are amateurish."

I'm betting Clark is the amateur. He's evidently made no attempt to understand the laws governing campaigns. Nor even how to conduct himself. Even more strangely, he doesn't seem to be working at improving his act. I'll betcha he blames his staff people for every mistake he's been caught at.

But, at the same time, he won't listen to them.

This guy is a GENERAL(!)...and he's got a real superiority complex. I can't imagine what it must've been like to serve under him.

By review of the number of web results, Dutch web surfers have been busy bees tracking down Miss Wisse Smit.

Here's a site:

De vrienden van Mabel Wisse Smit

I assume that means her "friends."

Here's a translation of part of the page.

"...Gareth Evans and William Shawcross: both governing board members of the International Crisis Group, with Emma Bonino. Evans are oud-minister of foreign affairs of Australia. THE ICG are a powerful lobby for Western intervention: Ed van Thijn and Wim Kok sit on the governing board, with more important characters such as ex-NATO chef Wesley Clark, probably the provoker of Bush at the following elections. ICG are paid by the United States (USIP, grant subsidy to foreign political organisations on behalf of the American parliament). Western countries also other (including the Netherlands) join in paying, also Bill Gates, and it is not possible differently, also the OSI of George Soros. Mabel sure Smit have performed work in 1998, for the ICG, to see here http://www.crisis web.org/annual/1998/staff.htm
Wesley Clark is a board member of the International Crisis Group, the Soros backed foundation. This poster says Bill Gates and others fund it too! He claims that Wisse Smit worked for ICG, but the link he gives is dead.

How about a dinner meeting in Paris, 1995 (?), at the American Embassy, attending: Clark, Amb. Harriman, Holbrooke, Sacirbey and his date - Ms. Wisse Smit?

There's a lot of chatter about this on the web, but not in English. So maybe Knighthawk can help us here.

From what I can tell, posters are intimating that phone calls about bombing strikes and such were fervently interrupting the dinner.

Search engines...

Try "mabel" and "Sacirbey" and "Clark"

Also "mabelgate"

Apparently a source of the story about the meeting discussed in Dutch blogs is a book by Bernard Henri-Levy (spelling?)

Knighthawk's post from this thread...

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1006180/posts?page=17#17

______________

"...Mabel was cozy with another nice guy too, Klaas Bruinsma (a big time criminal murdered a while back).

Mabel and Sacerbey lobbied for money and Sacerbey and his dad (Nezhib Sacerbegovic) went to Sudan to do some lobbying. According to 'Vrij Nederland' (a magazine dating from the resistance in WWII) the men were brought in contact with Osama bin Laden by the Sudanese president Hassan Al-Turabi. Osama gave them 50 million dollar and 4.000 trained fighters from Afghanistan. Also this is were Egyptian terrorist Al Zawahari joins in.

Also rumored is Mabel had indirectly worked on weapons trading with Bosnian leaders.

She also know exactly what the AIVD (Dutch intelligence service) knew about here. A person can aquire this info from the AIVD legaly, but only information that is (over) 5 years old, and she knew thing the AIVD gathered about her during the last 5 years. Although the Bosnian media knew about her dirty dealings, the AIVD reports seem not to mention anything about her dealings in Bosnia.

A coverup? Seems like it. The CDA (biggest governing party) refused to discuss that matter.

Also it was reported her dossier from the ministry of internal affairs seems to be missing...

To be continued.
