More common sense from DC politicos. Guess they didn't read "More Guns, Less Crime".

I can think of several. WWII immediately comes to mind. So does 9-11 - it never would have happened if either the pilots, the crew or passengers were armed.

"The District of Columbia is clear on this: We oppose guns."

Then why do you send your cops out with weapons?

Typical liberal idiot...

"There is no question in the universe that can be answered with more guns..."

"Hey, cabbie, give me all your money or I'll blow your head off!"

(Well, strictly speaking, that's an order, not a question. Ms. Patterson may have a point there...)

Oh, yeah? How about: "What do you want for Christmas?"

"More guns"

See?

Sure there is: "Give me your wallet!"

I used to drive a taxi. As far as I'm concerned there should be a disintegrator ray aimed at the backseat and all the passengers should be strapped down as they can't move an inch.

On my way back to the hotel from the most recent Presidential Inauguration I had a discussion with a DC cab driver about gun rights, which he opposed. He said he had been car jacked in his cab 4 times. Twice with a knife and twice with a gun.

I asked him what difference the gun made since he was robbed in either case. His response was that in the 2 knife robberies the car was eventually recovered.

Its hard to argue with that kind of logic.
