But Anheuser Busch portraying black men as morons ("Whassssssuuppppp?!?") is not offensive, just in case anyone's keeping score.
To: Phantom Lord
The sign appears to be proper ebonics. If it were in Spanish would the Mexicans be offended?

LOL! LOVE the sign! This guy's gotta be a freeper!
To: Phantom Lord
The sign must have hit a little too close to home for the NAACP.
To: Phantom Lord
The northern Oakland County NAACP is asking the store's owner to remove a message that they believe is racist. The burden of proof is on the NAACP. Why is the sign racist? Is it because the store owner is white? If he were black, would it still be racist?

There was an NAACP supported movement a few years back to have ebonics supported as a legitimate dialect that could be taught in school.
Maybe this shop owner is just trying to show support for that movement.

They should be really upset at various TV channels, especially those that chop the last few letters of a movie name. Last night one channel trimmed the last three letters of "Harlem Nights" on its description.

Racist organizations like the NAACP, who think they have the right to control what others say, should undergo re-education on free speech.
