The Democrats are in the process of shutting down the Senate to stop the GOP from chairing Senate hearings.

This is going to be two years of total war. Let's see if the media notices!

Interesting Point, and let me add another.

No Senator, interested in serving his constituents AND HIS PARTY, has no business being on the F*ng floor, let alone in a leadership position, without a frim grasp of the nuances and intricacies of Parliamentary procedure.

The fact that Byrd, who is one step from a doddering old fool, is the Senates resident whiz at this, tells you something is wrong. Being there a long time counts for some of it, but give me a break.

My senator, Reid-NV, stood in the Senate and lied. Stating that the delay was due to the Republican's getting a late start because of the Lott issue.

By the start of the Senate, all those issues had been settled, as far as leadership goes. These senators need a good spanking.

It means more of your tax dollars spent to defame the good name of Bush's judicial nominations. You're going to pay for liberal sources to be photocopied and interviewed, etc. which will propogate lies.

He would simply be handing that wretch Leahy another club ($$) to beat over the heads of Bush's judiciary choices.

What Club?!?!?!? in the Committee, raw Voting Power is all that matters, look how we got it handed to us, under the same funding formula.

One more head behind the dais is ALL that matters.

Hatch has agreed to have equality in funding for Judiciary. He and Leahy decided it.

What a maroon! This isn't about money, it's a test of will and Hatch flunked. Leahy will ratchet up the pressure on judicial nominees again, because Hatch blinked first.

I suspect Senator Palpatine is behind this. He's an expert at bogging things down in procedure.

Everything operates under the old rules: Chairman Leahy with half of the budget to slander Bush's judicial picks.

Reid lied??!! What a surprise.

On another note...I just heard Daschle saying that he has called Bill Richardson to come and brief them on the Korean issue. Bill Richardson? Sh*t! Don't these people know that the clinton administration isn't around anymore. Unfrickinbelievable.

The Democrats are in the process of shutting down the Senate to stop the GOP...can't be - with that spineless, stoopid Lott gone, we're supposed to have smooth, uncompromised sailing into the golden sunset of conservative/republican rule - reality does bite.....
