"War Is A Force That Gives Us Meaning"

Too bad the article doesn't flesh out this statement.

I believe it to be profoundly true. More than a generation of peace, and a poison builds up in the body politic. Many of the best men literally rot if peace goes on too long. So we are built for combat.

And anyway, there is never a lack of enemies at the gates, to fight. We are designed to fight because, like it or not, our way of life, always, comes under attack.

We fight. We face the danger. The rot drains away. We begin anew. Good and right.

I had no idea that there was an audience for this type of magazine in Oregon.

Don't mistake the northern I-5 corridor for Oregon...remember the Klamath water crisis? The woods are bristling with assault rifles... and people that know how to use them.
