VANITY - Democrats create code word "Lott" to slander Republicans
Posted on 12/20/2002 5:29:54 AM PST by Tao Yin
The whole discussion about Lott has become very interesting. If you look at what's happening I believe the question about Lott's future is very simple to answer.
How do we stop the Democrats from using a codeword to slander Republicans and boast about Democrats?
The word Lott is being used for a new game. It's called "Seven degrees of Lott". If you can be somehow linked to Lott in the present or the past, within seven steps, then you are all that is bad. And conversely they are all that is good. They also use Lott as the justification for any attack. Lott has become a codeword for Democratic privilege.
Knowing this, what can Lott do? Republicans can use this two ways. First, we can have Lott resign and walk quietly away. We could hope it will work as effectively as Newt Gingridge's exit. But running away never solved a problem. The fact is that Democrats like codewords. Study history and you will understand that waiting to be attacked at some future date is stupid. Unless you believe in eastern philosophy, then you may want to step aside and avoid the issue, but that's too late to try.
The second option is for Lott to stay, and use our greatest weapon, the codeword Lott. We dont' use it for slander or boasting, but for a call to reality. Make sure to use phrases like "They're lust trying to pull another Lott." To link to the codeword, just replace a past codeword with today's. "They're trying to pull another Reagan." With this strategy, we call upon people to notice what the Democrats are doing. We use the word codeword extensively. We dismiss their arguments as the utter nonsense that they are and get back to business. We also hope that the people will follow.

Yes, the CODE WORD is now all the rage for Democrats: Lott, Reagan, Southern Republicans, "States Rights", "strict construction."
It's time to use the boomerang on Democrats and expose their "code words":
Equal opportunity/civil rights = racial preferences and legislated guilt-mongering.
Tax reform = wealth transfer; robbing Peter to pay Paul; communism/socialism.
Social legislation = state-sponsored socialism/stealing/thievery.
Progressivism/liberalism = communism/crimalism.
News media = liberal propaganda.
Environmentalism = communism for sub-humans.
The list could go on and on. Rush could do this much better than me.

When our Black and White, Yellow and Green Soldiers are all fighting together, for one cause, in Iraq shortly, the TRUTH of America will be shown. No words will be necessary.

But what should Lott do to remove and break the Lott codeword? For Lott personally, I think he's tarnished forever. His name is no longer good, and it is no longer his.

We can't redefine the term Lott. We can try, but the liberals still control too much of the media and they won't let go.
This is weakness. Lott steps down quietly and the situation is over, but the democrats will keep hammering it in a shrill tone and the media will cover every word.
The democrats will shoot themselves in the foot on this. Even now look at what Clinton just said. It's not Lott that's racist, it's the whole republican party and the entire south, he says "how else do you think they got the south" and he's not done yet he's Clinton, he's never done.
Their attacks hurt them more than they do us because they over-reach and become unbelievable.

President Clinton was talking about republican political strategy which is fair game.
Lott is a fool and I don't blame his fellow republicans for wanting him out. He IS loyal but stupid so I'm sure he'll step down when he finally see's the writing on the wall!

Was that recently?
I guess for President Clinton you have a different set of rules.
I think we should leave yesteryear out of it on both sides and move on!
