Introduction

Only facts are presented with links to documentation. The readers are free to check that documentation and form their own conclusions.

There definitely exists a big bucks scam involving the swapping of junk land for good land, and making big bucks on the stock market by creating projects that are never completed or are used to create extra money to be syphoned off into private pockets. In this report that scam is called the Land Swap Game and is roughly outlined. Please note that this Land Swap Game outline is drawn from documents of situations that have occurred. This is merely a report of what has been found. References are included in this report.

The Hatch Act probably is applicable here. State and federal employees have restrictions to political activity.

Will a Goldgate make Watergate look like a Sunday School picnic? Something big, yet covert, is going on in the Mohave Desert over by Las Vegas. Near there is one of the largest veins of gold in the world in the decommissioned Chocolate Mountains Gunnery Range on what was government property. Other fingers on the same hand are pointing big time to the SF Bay Area.

Treasures Irresistible to the Greedy

 Just follow the money trail

Gold - rich vein in the Mohave in the Chocolate Mountains on decommissioned military property; adjoins the Mesquite Mine controlled by Santa Fe RR (Catellus). That vein is one of the richest in the world and is near the surface for easy mining.

Mountains of money to be gathered clandestinely by intelligent people with that bent.

Water - a canal for farmers runs by the property.

Location - Near Freeways, Las Vegas and other developments along the Colorado River.

Footprints in the sand

and

other signs trackers observe.

This is where the action is.

This is where the fun starts.

Possessing that trait that makes one collect money wherever and however he can, it is easy to assume that Gray Davis will be where money can be obtained. Quid pro quo, also known as Davis' "Pay to Play" scam, is so common in Saco that it is no longer news. Seldom is it even reported. That kind of person can be expected to be where the money is.

Herein are posted stories telling where Gray Davis has been and the people with whom he has associated. The character of these people can be determined from their dealings. Can the character of Governor Gray Davis be determined by the company he keeps?

Goldgate. This story could have been told 100 years ago. It's the old gold fever theme, but this time it is rich and powerful people after the precious metal. Waiting to tell their story over where the action is taking place, the sands of the Mohave Desert are surreptitiously impressed with the tracks of many white collar minors. And Gray Davis has associated with most of them, if not all. The desert sands offer some interesting questions:

How could the governor not know about one of the richest and easiest to mine veins of gold in the world right here in his own state?

How could the governor not know about all the boundary changes over there?

How then, considering Davis' money collecting tactics, could he not be in the action with his hands out?

One would think that a decent governor would want that wealth for his state, especially considering the plight of the economy under his leadership.

Those are, of course, for you to answer. I merely tempt you with facts for your research and gold fever.

Water. Then there is liquid gold:Water in the desert. A canal with water intended for farmers runs by the land. Do you suppose, even for one minute, that those same rich and powerful, white collar minors would even dare to think about diverting that water to their own, selfish gains? That maybe after they take their gold and hide it, they might want to develop the property for a few more ill-gotten bucks? Or maybe they could do both at the same time. “Buy a house by a gold mine!” Of course you can figure that one out for me.

Access. It just so happens that a freeway runs by, or through, the property. That would sure reduce the cost of paved roads to get the people there. Several different parcels are involved. Freeway routes 10, 15 and 40 are in the areas. Very convenient, that.

Location. The old rule for real estate value is: Location, location, location. Well, let's see, now. That property is next to a highway, a water canal runs by it, and it just happens to be within commuting distance to Las Vegas and the other developments along the Colorado River. That could offer a temptation that even the most scrupulous politician and investor could not resist. It just so happens that US Senator Diane Feinstein and her husband, Richard Blum, are both. And the records show that they do not even have scruples. And Gray Davis has been hanging around that bunch. I did not say it. You go figure that one.

Process. Now, how do they get all this accomplished? It seems the old Land Swap Game has come into play here. The prospective minors get control of some worthless desert land that can hardly be given away. Then by devious means with the federal government, they swap that junker land for the valuable land. What ingenious thievery. Are you aware that your taxes are paying for this swap scam?

Now add to that deal the fact that the gold is on government land by the name of the Chocolate Mountains Naval Aerial Gunnery Range. Well, shoot. The military can go shoot somewhere else. To get this done, various bills are quietly pushed through Congress and Saco to arrange for the swap.

Well, that about brings us up to date on this mining scam. That deal can be dealt with later. The task at hand today is the credibility of Governor Gray Davis. So let's look at some of his acquaintances.

With that trait of Gray Davis to collect money wherever and however he can, it is easy to assume that Davis will be where money can be obtained. Quid pro quo, also known as Davis' "Pay to Play" scam, is so common in Saco that it is no longer news. Seldom is it even reported. That kind of person can be expected to be where the money is.

Herein are posted accounts of where Gray Davis has been and the people with whom he has associated. The character of these people can be determined from their dealings. Then you can ask if Davis is affected by the company he keeps.

Willie Brown. One early relation was with SF Mayor Willie Brown, formerly in the Saco Legislature. It is said that Brown redefined corruption. With Davis' “Pay to Play” routine, they appear to be out of the same mold. Further, it could easily be assumed that if Brown found a source of money, unethical, even illegal, Davis could be expected to be there. For how could one not share something to prevent exposure?

Richard Blum. The scandalous trail left by Blum raises many questions about his ethics. Along the way we see his wife, US Senator Diane Feinstein (D-CA). Both are clear up to their ears in Chinagate and gun running by Cosco in San Diego. The Cox Report on Chinagate has Feinstein deeply concerned. Blum controls a number of real estate companies that cover a wide arena of activities.

Catellus. The Catellus Corporation figures in many areas, with Blum in the background, and has an interesting history with Calpers (California Public Employees Retirement System). In about 1989, Calpers bought into Catellus. In 1995, Calpers owned over 40% of Catellus stock, causing one to wonder about the diversity of the program. Catellus is owned by the Santa Fe RR, but Blum seems to controls it. Bareia handles its real estate transactions. Calpers was a partner in Bareia and later took over the company, giving Calpers over 40% of the Catellus stock. JMB/Bay Area Partners is a partner of Catellus and Bareia. In 2001, Calpers sold some if its Catellus stock to Catellus. One might consider the stock prices over the years, as well as the use of all that Calpers money.

Ron Burkle. Ron is a long time supporter of Davis and is deeply involved in Davis politics, Catellus and Yucaipa.

Yucaipa. Ron Burkle apparently owns Yucaipa The SEC lists 6 companies using food supply names, but other properties my be involved in their functions.

So, there you have it, Folks. Go check out the company Gray Davis keeps. Add in the reported, illegal and unethical acts of Davis and make your own decision.

They decide between Gray Davis and Bill Simon for California governor.

Bill Simon is honest. The only thing against him have been lies perpetrated by Davis.

Documentation for the above is listed below.

Definitions

Congress - the Congress of the United States.

Saco - the California State Legislature in Sacramento, California, Gray Davis, Governor.

San Fran - The government of the City of San Francisco, California.

Davis - Gray Davis, governor of California.

da Mayor - Willie Brown, Mayor of the City of San Francisco, California; Brown initiated this term.

Scam - illicit process in which taxpayers money is covertly moved into private pockets.

Phony - illicit forgery characterized by a sham designed to cheat people out of money.

Payola - illicit money passing between parties in a deal. With Davis it's called “Pay to Play”.

Land Swap Game

This mechanism has been fully developed and fine tuned.

Covert operations and secrecy are a requirement.

Deviant names and reasons are used.

Phony project is started.

Phony stock company is formed.

Other reputable stock companies are used as a front.

Supporting bills are passed in Congress and/or Saco and/or San Fran.

Government agencies conduct actions to facilitate the scam.

Funding arrives from Congress.

Phony stock offerings soar.

Junk land is swapped for prime land.

Funding is "spent" -- Read stolen.

Inflated stocks are sold.

Stock collapses

Phony stock company is closed.

Project may be ended, never having been built, never even started.

Big bucks end up in private pockets.

Obviously, something this big means lots of players. And lots of players means sharing the loot. And sharing the loot means big bucks are required to make the scam worth the risk. From what has been uncovered thus far, it “appears” that clandestine operations exit that will make Watergate look like a Sunday School picnic. President Bush and proper federal authorities have been alerted, but have made no move to initiate this investigation.

Please note that no definite conclusion has been drawn here. The writer is merely reporting what he sees. There can be no law prohibiting printing truth. Conclusions are left to the realm of the readers.

In December 1989, SFP sold 19.9% of the Company to Bay Area Real Estate Investment Associates, L.P. (BAREIA), a California limited partnership whose general partner was JMB/Bay Area Partners and whose limited partner was the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CALPERS). Later Bareia folded, and Calpers gained over 40% control of Catellus stock. For documentation, see SEC.

Catellus - the outfit managing the property; controlled by Blum; owned by the Santa Fe Railroad.

Chinagate - see Cox Report; see Feinstein and Blum.

Clinton, Bill - our impeached President and convicted perjurer; hired by Burkle.

Some facts don't fit, Chocalate Mountain and Vegas are seperated by several hundred miles.

Chocolate Mountain Impact Area (R-2507)

The Chocolate Mountain Impact Area is an unnattended/non-instrumented ordnance range located approximately 60 NMI northwest of the MCAS Yuma TACAN, Channel 84. Access to the Chocolate Mountains is by air or surface roads. See Fig 3i-1, Fig 3i-5 or map image R-2507.

I was aware of this info thru another source two years ago. Your compilation is very organized and coherent. This is an extremely complicted and convoluted scam. Congratulations on a job well done.

I notice comments on how long it is but no rage. Are Freepers becoming jaded by the criminal activities?

I know of three respected researchers that have come up with the same information. Independently, I might add, and none are living near each other. No media source nor any law enforcement agency seems moved to check the information out? WHY?

Wow. The level of detail is impressive. And it truly does smell like maybe, just maybe the next big Davis scandal!

What can we do to get to the bottom of this? With the Nathanson letters and all the other scandals (see http://www.egray.org for many nauseating examples), the water is chummed. Need a hungry journalist to tackle this... ask the right people the right questions.

Where there's smoke, there's fire.

As to your why, try Hillary's 1200 FBI files. She made it to the Senate while holding those illegal files while Congress all the while sat on their thumbs, wiggling and giggling. That bitch is dangerous with that ammunition. I don't how it would relate her, but dollars to doughnuts somebody is paying her for protection.

To Reply #9: You are correct. This Land Swap Game goes all the way from San Francisco to three counties in the Mohave Desert. I had to keep it short and went too long as it was. Also, I do not have permission to tell everything I know. But if you will read Karen Bixman's letter, you will find out about Chocolate Mountain gold -- Lotsa real Au gold.

But there is something else going on up above by Vegas. Time will tell, if our bold leaders will look into it. That would be a great job for our new Governor Simon. I, for one, would greatly appreciate a leader who would stop some of this blatant corruption.

Thanks for presenting this information. I have long suspected some dirty doings in the Mojave, especially since the "California Desert Protection Act of 1994". Anything Dianne Feinstein supports always has a hidden agenda (she is cunning and clever; do not underestimate the power of the dark side!). Shining light on these shenanigans is a great public service.

I have to partially agree with freebilly in Post #2 in that the format of the presentation could use some work to improve readability and make a clearer case. Scams like these, like most white-collar crime, often make peoples' eyes glaze over the moment they are mentioned.

To counteract that natural reaction, in the spirit of vicarious editing, I respectfully recommend the following:

1) Although I know you want people to draw their own conclusions, help us along by stating yours at the very beginning. What have you, who have obviously looked into this rather deeply, concluded? Lay out your conclusions in either the introduction or a summary immediately following the intro, as any good thesis would do. This will help people skimming the article decide if the topic interests them enough to check out your sources.

2) Lay out the case, step by step. Some parts of this are more likely than others. Start with those parts of the story that are easiest to prove and most fundamental to making the case. Present your source information in the context of these points, beginning with the most verifiable. Doing this will help people to examine the source data with an eye for what's relevant to these scams.

3) Where not enough direct source information exists to form a solid conclusion, but signs point in a given direction, say so, distinguishing speculation from facts. With that disclaimer, explain the other, indirect evidence, that has lead you to believe something that is unproven may nonetheless be true. People will key in to that and it will help lend credibility to the case.

In my callow youth, I spent a lot of time bopping around the Mojave, and consider it one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Stories like this one interest me. I am always interested when scoundrels in public office abuse the public trust to enrich themselves and their cronies (ala Teapot Dome or Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument).

This looks potentially bigger than Teapot Dome (but probably not bigger than the Escalante clean-burning coal scam), and I would like to see more investigation into this.

I am willing to bounce this back and forth on the email backchannel and help out as an amateur editor. Just send me an email if you would like to do this.

Thanks again for presenting this information!

Go everyone! This is well worth your time. I see many of you are reading it. It took me days to assimilate the convolutions here and I still read new facets into this scam. The minds that connived this are indeed devious and unrelenting! The players! So many and so well-known! I have been trying to "get it" since 2000 and it is still mind-boggeling!

Maybe with this report coming out in Free Republic, now the media will begin to do some real reporting. Real reporting sells papers too--I think they forgot that fact in their quest for feel-good news for the happy masses.

To Reply #17: Thanks, Imal for your kind words. You offer valid points, and I agree with you. Why, then, did I not so write originally? The answer is simple: I have no yearning to spend time in jail for slander. I am positive Gray Davis is in there, but my diligent, but time limited, searches revealed no concrete documents. Oh, how I would have liked to find one. My job would have been so much easier.

So I elected to lay out the available facts and pose questions to help the readers think. They can not but help to see what's going one. But lots of weasel clauses were needed.

In retrospect, I should have created a simple, eye and interest catching front page and posted that, hoping the readers would click on the original and read more. With that in mind, I did start out with gold.

I see you are well informed about the Escalante Staircase National Monument and the coal tie up. I covered that topic in my Limited Federal Government thesis and posted a discussion on FR under the title "KBD" ("Klamath Basin Document") regarding the Klamath Basin Crisis. There definitely appears to be a link there. And there, as here, simply follow the money trail. I consider this present Goldgate to be much larger than Clinton's Stairgate. With Chinagate in the picture, there are more possibile traitors in Goldgate. This could prove quite interesting.

Again, I thank you for your kind words and scholary input.
