Fellow FReepers in Tom Davis's District
Frank Creel ^ | Before Election Day | Frank Creel

Are you in Tom Davis's district?

Then check this out: http://www.frankcreel.org

Elect a Congressman who will NEVER:

Vote for a tax increase

Vote for bigger, more intrusive government

Violate his oath to defend the Constitution …and who will ALWAYS:

Defend U.S. sovereignty

Insist upon Congressional declaration of war before hostilities begin

Defend the Second Amendment and seek the repeal of laws that violate it

Protect our treasured liberties AND

Fiercely defend the right to life of all American citizens, including those in their mothers' wombs. Frank Creel is not a career politician. He is a former Peace Corps volunteer, combat veteran of Vietnam (where he gained a particular appreciation for the fragility and preciousness of human life), newspaper columnist, Fulbright-Hays scholar, retired U.S. civil servant and (most proudly) husband, father and grandfather.

Frank Creel believes America is long past due to move from the "Me Generation" to the "We Generation," with "We" including our children and grandchildren, to whom we hope to entrust an America that will remain secure, prosperous, happy and at peace both at home and abroad.

VOTE Frank Creel for Congress November 5, 2002!

His name appears on the ballot as follows:

Frank W. Creel, C

You might have mentioned that the guy is a third party candidate, and that Tom Davis is the head of the National Republican Campaign Committee, and has had more to do with the GOP keeping control of the House in 2000 and this year than any other single man (with the possible exception of Bush). Cheers.

Tom Davis is the head of the National Republican Campaign Committee. So why does he go around badmouthing Republican candidates? Why is he trying to get Democrats elected in California?

The guy has a bit more candor than McAuliffe and Nita Lowey. It gives him credibility. Sorry about that.

It's not candor. How come Simon who is in a statiscal dead heat with Gray Davis is in an unwinnable position, even though he's closer than, say, McBride is to Jeb Bush? Did Simon run a worse campaign than, say, Mike Taylor in Montana? But I didn't here Davis say anything about him.

So you accuse Ronald Reagan of lacking candor? It's his rule, and somehow he got elected president of the United Staes twice, even if you think his idea is foolish.

As unlikely as it sounds, I'd have to agree with Terry McAuliffe and Nita Lowey, that when your job is to promote somebody, it's best not to bamouth them.

I doubt that Creel can win. Moreover, I hope he is re-elected & stays in Congress.

That said, and considering that Davis has NO Dem running against him, I plan on voting for Creel. Since NO Dem can win, I'll send Davis the message that some of us are more conservative than him by voting for Creel.

Davis is a good guy & has done wonders as chairman of the Repub. Congressional Committee. Happened to shake his hand this morning. He was at McDonalds having a late breakfast meeting with a couple people.

Tom Davis is, was, and always WILL be a squish. It it had benefitted Tom to run as a Dem, earlier in his life, he would have done so, and likely be running the NDCC.

I trust Tom to stick only to his one guiding principle: whatever gets Tom re-elected, and with more power. . .

Election or no election, the man is right.

Davis is one of the biggest sellouts and is a disgrace to the Republican Party. This guy gives a pass to all illegal aliens in his district. We don't need Republicans like him. Why reward him?

This thread is beginning to remind me of the good ole days when we had Buchanan threads, where the Brigadiers did their thing. Ah the memories.

Exactly. I will vote for Tom Davis any day if it means keeping the House out of Rat hands. All politics is national these days.
