DEMS PULL AHEAD (Dick Morris 100% love fest for Zogby. Is he Right or wrong?)

Contrast this to Dick Morris's prediction. I want this up for the record.

Arkansas: Democrat Mark Pryor has gone from a 45-45 tie against GOP incumbent Tim Hutchinson to a decisive 55-44 advantage. Pryor, the son of former Arkansas Sen. and Gov. David Pryor, has capitalized on Hutchinson's apparent hypocrisy in leaving his wife to marry a young member of his staff while advocating family values as a conservative Senator.

I hate Zogby because he was right about 2000.

What went wrong for the Republicans? . . . They don't have any issues after Clinton cut welfare and crime. Voters are mad about Wall Street's shenanigans and worried about the economy's doldrums.

Something doesn't seem quite right about this. In all of the election-related articles and news broadcasts I've seen over the last two months, this is the first time I've seen any mention of "Wall Street's shenanigans" or even the fact that the Republicans need a big issue. Remember -- an off-year election is generally seen as a referendum on the sitting President, so it is the Democrats who need the big issues here.

It sounds as if Morris wrote this article eight months ago.

The only polls that matter are the ones that close tomorrow. We need to hang in there!!!

Sadly Zogby's probably right. He's the only pollster who factors in the Democrat advantage in illegals, felons, the dead, dying, retarded and the homeless (voting multiple times if possible).

Frank Lautenberg, part of a new crop of Democratic elderly retreads, has opened up a 54-38 lead . . .

I would add that there's no way in hell Lautenberg wins this race by 16 points. Every statewide election in New Jersey over the last ten years has been about ten points closer than the pre-election polls indicated.

Please explain to me why people think 'rat's are better for the economy when all they want to do is raise taxes. Higher taxes are NEVER better for the economy. DUH!

Don't worry; Dick Morris has been wrong, wrong, wrong. A few of his "predictions": the Republicans to gain 30 to 50 House seats in 1998 (they lost several), Hillary Clinton would "NEVER" be elected NY senator (she won by 12 points). He's like Jeane Dixon in her later life: his crystal ball has developed cataracts.

Dittos. I do the only way that Republicans can overcome the Democrats illegal advantage is Republicans voting in droves. It doesn't seem like that will be the case this election. I predict the Dems will pick up a Senate seat and pick up 3 House seats. I hope I am wrong.

If it makes you feel any better, Zogby was right about the presidential election in 2000 but was wrong about almost everything else.

Because people are greedy idiots. They actually believe that government can satisfy all their wants and needs and take care of them. Most people cannot reason.

Missouri: Democratic incumbent Jean Carnahan has stormed back from a 41-47 deficit to take a 49-48 razor-thin lead over GOP Rep. Jim Talent. She could still lose, but she's in strong shape.

So basically Zogby is saying the democrats will sweep all elections. This does not jibe with the other data available out there. I hope Morris' predictions are as bad as they were in 2000.

Thanks for the contrast.

Anyone that hasn't figured it out after this, needs to do a realilty check. IMO Dick Morris is still a RAT, still tied into the Clintons and only trashes them when he feels it suits his/their agenda. Would be willing to bet the clintons know when he is going to do it too! Morris has done a good job of snowing Republicans into believing him because he has trashed Hillary -- how much trashing has he done of Bill. Morris has not changed his spots since the 1992 election when this Country bought into the clintons which were a sham of a couple!

Morris and Zogby smell on this election. The poster that said Zogby figures in all the fraud is right -- biggest difference this time is that DOJ belongs to Republicans not Reno. No way are they are going to get by with the fraud in such large numbers as they did the last time. This is the new Republican Party after the Florida fiasco -- we take nothing foregranted!

If Dick Morris thinks the Democrats are winning, then they are probably losing. He is wrong on nearly every single one of his pronostications. This has been the case since the presidential election of 2000.

Doom and gloom, doom and gloom. Morris also predicted that the GOP would pick up 50 seats in 1998. He said that it would hurt for Bush to get out on the campaign trail.

Dick Morris was on the Clinton payroll. 'nuff saud.

Zogby has priveleged information about the dems "get out the vote" campaign. He has been told what percentage to add to his poll numbers to include the dead and brain dead.

If Republicans do not watch the polls and keep a count of the numbers that actually show up to vote -- so additional votes can't be added after the polls close -- we are screwed.

Hopefully Republicans will remember 2000 and turn out this time. The average turnout in midterm elections is 38%. The party that wins will be the party that does the best job of beating that.

What went wrong with the Republicans?

We're trying to figure that out in Pennsylvania. Ed Rendell (big city Demopuke, big taxer, pro-abortion and anti-gun) is way ahead of Republican Fischer in the governor's race. Go figure.
