The man told the hunter he had a gun and threatened to kill him, said Sgt. T.E. Kiser of the Harris County Sheriff's Department homicide division.

The hunter drew his bow and shot at the man, hitting him in the hip and buttocks area.

'Might depend on which happened first.

The hunter was actually hunting for deer. It's now legal bow season in Texas in October and there are plenty of deer in that part of Harris County.

Bizzare story. I saw it on the local Houston evening news. The hunter is black and the perpetuator is white, btw, not that it really matters.

Yikes!

Now that is truly a bad way to go! An arrow through the gluteus! Ay caramba!

I have seen some hunting arrows and those things look vicious! And then there is not only the arrow but also the shaft. All of that ripping into the flesh (some arrows open up inside the prey for additional damage). All that stuff slicing into that thief's buttocks and thighs! I have to say that guy really got it.

One thing i am certain of is that when the thief woke up that morning he did not expect to be on the receiving end of a hunting arrow drawn from a composite bow going through his trunk!

That is why one should always pray in the morning!

And this is a case the left cannot really criticize. For one it did not involve a gun but a bow (meaning the argument of the left about guns does not apply). Second the hunter was black and the thief white (meaning the leftist vision of whites running around with rifles and beer kegs does not apply here).

Perfect scenario (although i kind of feel a lil' bit sorry for the thief ....getting shot in the butt with an arrow is a bad way to go. And a shameful one too).

LOL

"The man told the hunter he had a gun and threatened to kill him"

That's the great thing about dead felons.... they always seem to say the right thing. One more great reason to never leave one wounded.

Passing motorists saw him run into a field and collapse,

I wonder if the hunter waited a 1/2 hour before tracking the bloodtrail. LOL

The hunter drew his bow and shot at the man, hitting him in the hip and buttocks area.

The man jumped from the vehicle and ran across the 9500 block of East Mount Houston Road in northeast Harris County. Passing motorists saw him run into a field and collapse..

I'd imagine it's hard to run too far with an arrow in your hip/buttocks.
