The NJ Senate race is close. It can be won by a massive get out the vote effort. The Democrats are masters at this, it's time we beat them at their own game.
If you live in the surrounding area (NY, PA, CT) please do the nation a favor. Make a trip to New Jersey to help get out the vote.
What needs to be done? Here are a few examples:
1. Literature drop at Churches. Target those Church groups most likely to vote Republican. Invite them to schedule an hour out of their day on Nov. 5th to vote. (Maybe the Chritian Coalition has an effort like this in NJ? Can someone let us know?)
2. Neighborhood canvasing. Go door to door distributing literature and encouraging those favorable to Forrester to take an hour off from work on Nov. 5th, and to take a friend who is leaning toward Forrester with them.
3. Help with the phone banks. People actually get off of their duff when they are personally invited. It is far more effective then campaign literature. A personal invitatation over the phone goes a long way. Help call local Republicans and encourage them to vote. Challenge the people on the phone to schedule an hour on Nov. 5th to vote, and to bring someone who supports Forrest with them. Make sure they don't bring someone who will vote for Lautenberg (and thereby canceling out their Forrester vote)!!
I can't cordinate this effort, but I believe Forrester's office can. To get involved or to make suggestions like these, please call his office (and make sure you tell them that you live outside of Jersey): 609.890.4699
Also, ask his office to coordinate the setup for out of State volunteers. (It might be quite a drive for some volunteers.)
I'm going to donate 4 hours this month to help get out the vote. Will you join me by doing the same?

The DimRAT's threw the rule book away for this one folks, cross the border and vote in someone else's name!
I encouraged my daughter to go register on Monday, which was the last day (but who knows?!) for registration. She said they asked for no identifcation. She just had to fill out a card with her name and address. When she asked why they didn't want some kind of ID the clerk became hostile, so my daughter just left.
