Whether the Kennedy name is a political asset or a liability may be a subject worthy of debate in Maryland this year.
But even Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, the leading Democratic candidate for governor, did not realize that her famous name would give rise to free advertising in the form of a conveniently timed TV movie about her father, Robert F. Kennedy.

Although it will not include a portrayal of the young Townsend, the movie provides a rich reminder of her father's legacy of support for blacks and Latinos.
Will it also include the part where Robert F. Kennedy, as Attorney General, ordered the bugging of Martin Luther King? Probably not but this movie should include this if it is to be truthful.

I am so sick of hearing about the Kennedys. They are not "America's Royalty", they are white-trash with money. Just like the Clintons.
To: Paul Atreides
Hey! The Kennedys made their money honestly by bootlegging booze into the USA. BTW, it's weird that while Joe Kennedy worked with the Mob in order to bootleg all that booze, RFK couldn't stand those mobster types. One reason why he went after Hoffa bigtime is that Hoffa didn't fit into RFK's snobbish notions of how an up-from-the-ranks labor leader should act. Hoffa was too much of a diamond-in-the-rough to suite RFK's snobbish sensibilities.

Wonder if they'll include that KKT may not be Bobby's oldest child? Just the oldest with Ethel.

And, later in this WP article they take a couple of swipes at Ehrlich. The Washington Post = Fair and Balanced. I guess Ehrlich is getting to close for comfort with the Liberal Attack Media Elite (L.A.M.E) brains!

Nothing suspicious here. :]
I'm sure there will be plenty of kind movies and documentaries about George H.W. Bush right before the election in 2004.

And his promising start as an assistant to Tailgunner Joe himself? Wasn't Joseph McCarthy KKT's godfather?

Yes, according to Arthur Herman's 2000 book on Joe McCarthy: "Joe McCarthy stood as godfather for Bobby and Ethel's first child" (Joseph McCarthy: Examining the Life and Legacy of America's Most Hated Senator, page 10)--and KKT was the oldest child.
To: Caligirl for Bush
Wasn't Joseph McCarthy KKT's godfather? Yes, but she would prefer not to talk about that.

Wonder if they'll include that KKT may not be Bobby's oldest child? I'd love to hear about that, so that I can add it to my "Kennedy lore".
