I agree with your statement. When we all understand that Bush's "with us or against us" speech was just nothing more than rhetoric... we'll all have a better dose of reality.

Myself.... I think this war on terrorism is a joke. We charged into the mountains of Torra Bora without surrounding it first and we can't figure out why they all escaped?? We don't punish states who fund terrorists?? We search old women and children getting on planes because we're afraid of profiling while we sit around waiting for the next terrorist bomb (dirty nuke, real nuke, or whatever to drop. We can't kill the badguys because they hide among people willing to hide them. (aka accomplices)

We are not in a serious war. We are in a PRO.....public relations ordeal.

One of our biggest problems right now is that we are perceived as the evil empire by everybody else in the world. Even our supposed allies are against us even though we were attacked by Terrorists, that tells me that they were happy we were hit. Sometimes taking care of America & Americans takes precedence over keeping the rest of the world happy.
There will come a point where Bush has to make Americans happy & safe or comply with the rest of the worlds request, either way we're in for a long drawn out nasty war if not World War III. I don't think that people screaming for immediate retaliation have thought about the reprecussions of our undeclared war.
Also we have our own Cultural & religious war going on right here in America, how can we fight Terrorism when our Politicians & our courts are more worried about the Terroists rights & hurting the Arab peoples feelings then catching the B@stards. In short America seems to be on a path of Self destruction of our own making, hopefully Bush will keep a cool head & handle it in a responsible manor. At least that is what I hope.
