Even if Sanchez and Kirk prevail, it would be wrong to blame the uninformed electorate of TX. The Republicans are offering no reason for Republicans to come to the polls. "Nada, nada," there's nothing there, not even interesting rhetoric that a Nixon or Agnew could once provide. The average Texan does not know the candidates. Perry is nearly invisible as a governor. Cornyn was a huge winner for attorney general in 1998, but seems void of substance to me. This GOP overconfidence may lead to disaster. And I understand the Republicans are also likely to lose governorships in MI, WI, PA, and IL. So how is the president's popularity helping his party?

We already know that you don't like Republicans so why would any of us listen to what you have to say. As far as Austin goes, when is the last time that Travis County was considered a Republican stronghold?

Not to mention that in the past the election cycle in Texas kicks off Labor Day as the County Fairs are in full swing getting ready for the State Fair. If you are from Texas, you should know that! But why let that stand in the way of your continual trashing of Republicans.

Did you think that some of us have not noticed? LOL!!! Think again! Maybe you can point me to a thread you were on that you actually supported Republicans!
