So how many Freepers are going to watch the new newsmagazine show on broadcast Fox tommorrow? To get up to speed, see this previous thread. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/684085/posts. It's featuring Geraldo Rivera, Bill O'Reilly, anchored by Shepherd Smith. I also believe Laurie Dhue is going to be on the show based on some of the ads I've seen for it.
I think I'll check it out. I wonder if it'll get off the ground.

I'll check it out, too, though it sucks that it's opposite to Hannity & Colmes.
To: Green Knight
How can it be opposite Hannity and Colmes if its not Fox News Channel? Besides, Hannity and Colmes gets rebroadcasted.

Read the linked article. It's on broadcast Fox not FNC.

I will definitely watch. They are about our last hope for real news issues being exposed to the American public. We have to support them.

It seems I remember that Fox has tried to launch newsmagazine shows in the past but they've never stuck. Maybe this one will do better now that FNC is number one.
To: GulliverSwift
It's great big FOX is getting a news show like this. It will be shown to a much greater audience than FNC.

Thanks.....
I'll probably still watch H&C though.....
I don't care for Geraldo or Shepherd.....
Laurie Dhue could tempt me to watch...
Also Emerill is on at 9:00 I think.....

Well, since the only thing I ever watch on TV is FOX, I imagine I will. Besides, I'm pretty interested in seeing the segment on smuggeling terrorists into the US.
To: WhiteGuy
I'll watch just for Laurie...that is if the "other half" doesn't catch me.
I wish FOX would put out some sort of calendar of the "FOX Babes"!!!!

Yeah, that looks like an interesting story that you definitely wouldn't catch on ABCBSNBCNNPMSNBC.

OH SHOOT! It's on the broadcast channel. Chances are I'll probably forget to tune in then. I always remember these things too late. Besides, it'll probably be re-broadcast on FNC.
Glad they're starting these shows on the broadcast channels though, might expose the people without cable to some REAL reporting.
I don't really like Geraldo's politics, but you have to admit, he does a really fine job of reporting once he's pointed in the right direction. Who knows, after working with REAL reporters for a while he might even end up opening his mind.

Sounds as though Roger Ailes is still trying to figure out a way to get people to watch Whorealdo.

I will watch it but switch when Jerry Rivers is on. Man oh man, I wish FOX would dump him. Have sent numerous e-mail requests to this effect to them with no results.

They need to start off with an expose' of the democrat tactics that we'll be seeing over the next few months leading up to the election. They could point out the facts on the Harkin deal -- that the 'rats have been revisiting the Harkin story for a dozen years in attempts to smear both President Bushes and
still can't find anything that will stick; that the President filed a form with the SEC
before he sold his Harkin stock alerting them of his intent to sell; that the SEC has thoroughly gone over this matter and saw fit to drop it; and that the stock value rose to double the price that GWB sold it for within a year of his selling it.
If they want to be successful, they should air topics that their left wing competition would never touch -- things that would expose the left wing bias of the other networks.

No way; I absolutely loath that hyperactive, tabloid-trash fairy Shepard Smith.
