It's not my fault...honest! {;^)

What difference does it make if it WAS a "terrorist attack?" Good question. President Bush certainly doesn't need another terror incident to take place on American soil during his watch.

I am starting to get more on this perp being on some type of FBI watch list. I now have two sources that I am waiting on to see if this is indeed true. When and if I get these two sources to supply evidence, I will include all the denials and lies, from our own politicians to the FBI. I have not concluded that he was, but I must admit, from my own research, it appears that he was so far. By Monday, I am hoping to get these sources to acknowledge that the perp was indeed on a subversive type list.

If the thirty-odd million criminal alien enemies in our midst were actually watched, stopped and deported, the thirty-odd million bloody bureaucrats whom we pay to do the watching, stopping and deporting would all have to go back to flipping burgers and picking lettuce.
And their noses.
All any of them were any good for to begin with.
And now.

Sorry it came out that way. What I was meaning to say was "so what if it was 'terrorism' when you have a crime with X people dead. If this was something out of left field, someone we haven't even expected before, that'd be one thing, but it's not. We know there are people out to destroy Israel. We know there are people out to destroy the U.S. There's some overlap."
The point is to catch the baddies--oh, wait, we've already got all the stops pulled out--and prevent it from happening again--oh, I forgot, we've already put so many measures in place the civil libertarians are having hissy-fits.
Do you see what I mean?

Hi Ill! of course it is all solved..I get stopped and searched all the time and they have taken 80,000 weapons since the searches have begun...they are looking for a place to donate 25,000 toenail clipper, 50,000 nail files and 10 000 can openers.......we are MUCH safer......but you knew that..

I don't know how much longer we can toe the politically-correct line.
It's as if we're so deep into the looking-glass world of Clinton-era Democrat politics--results don't matter, only INTENTIONS matter--that it's going to take three or four more major catastrophes to set us right again.
I do think Mr. Bush is aware of what is happening and what needs to be done, but he's hamstrung by a Democrat Senate dogging every step he makes, plus some really (to me at least) stupid advice he's getting to appear "above the fray" when it comes to the Dem morons.
The result is that we don't have a real policy to deal with terrorism. I think Mr. Bush does all he can but, don't know if that's going to be enough.

I told you so.So Fred, the Sydney Morning Herald says that an unamed FBI official told them that this guy was on the watch list. Do you really think it's time for a told-you-so -- I don't.
From your profile, do remember what I said about trust no one?

Just wish we had just half the intelligence as the Israelis. They were able to identify this man within minutes after he was shot. They also knew that his father was an Egyptian General. There security is so far and above ours that I would be happy to abolish ours and use theirs. If it had not been for the quick acting of the El Al security, the man would probably have been going around shooting at random via Columbine until his ammunition ran out. Our security forces would have sealed off the airport and not entered for an hour of two while he finished as many people off as he could. We owe a great debt to these very capable and brave people with El Al security. They ought to get some kind of medal. Also, the civilian victims have as much of a right to be honored as those in the twin towers. They are no less than casualites of war and should be so treated.

I find it ironic, that all of a sudden, all of the political cheerleaders are becoming immigration experts......

I think statements like this are just absurd. What difference does it make if it WAS a "terrorist attack?" Does that mean it MIGHT indicate there are terrorists who want to target Israel? LOL! To me this is like the statements you read from time to time such as: "The murder is being investigated on suspicion that it might have been a 'hate crime'". What bullsh*t! What difference if it was a "hate crime" or not? The person is dead, and hate is everywhere. Just PC semantics. I know what you mean illbay. We know the guy hates the US and Israel and he murdered some people at an Isreali terminal on the 4th of July. We don't know if he acted alone or if he was part of an organized group. How more precise can you get in describing what we know about this situation at this time. Yet we go on and on trying to determine if he he fits some less specific label -- terrorist.
What a waste -- a bunch of perfectly good ol' Freepers wrapped up in PC sematics.
