	Background: This information is provided as a service toward understanding and information. Americans generally (those of derived Christian background) are used to the rules of action and behavoir set down in the Old Testiment. This group of rules is commonly referred to as the "Ten Commandments". Compared to the Religion of Islam, Christians "have it easy" with only ten clear and simple rules to follow. This is not so in Islam where their list of "Commandments" reads like it was written by an aggressive Divorce Attorney. It is, in my humble attempt at understanding, quite severe and hard on humans, but that is just my opinion. But many millions of people subscribe to these laws and act accordingly. Muslims are a Pious people. To all the people who may be offended by the Islamic Teachings, I can only request that you "don't shoot the messenger". If you ascribe to the black and white belief that "Every Muslim is evil" I urge you to read the following and see why Pork is forbidden. And, why Bin Laden keeps his beard like he does. The irony of it is that the Muslims think that the Bible is about rules, like their religion.

It's not about rules - it's about a relationship between the Creator and the created. That relationship is restored when our sin debt is paid for and the Third Person of the Trinity lives in our hearts.
