A Christian radio station in Germany is campaigning for their listeners to get pregnant.

Head presenter Simone Panteleit is to blame for Radio Paradiso's 1,000 Babies For Berlin.

Panteleit just happens to be pregnant.

The station puts listeners in the mood by playing Phil Collins, Elton John and Whitney Houston.

Unfortunately, they’ve had more attempted suicides than pregnancies.

Panteleit explains about her "bulging baby tummy" and asks them to, "get pregnant with me".

Station editor Thorsten Wittke, says the reasoning behind the idea is to raise awareness for the huge lack of nursery places available and to highlight how important children are for the future.

According to a recent survey in Sueddeutsche Zeitung only one in five Berlin households have children.

The first 1,000 babies born will receive vouchers from toy shops and get a place on the waiting list of the kindergarten of their choice, courtesy of Radio Paradiso.

What more could you ask for? Go procreate.

Imagine if you are the mother of baby 1,001 and you miss the boat on these fabulous prizes and it was all for nothing.

A fun contest though. It is not fair however. Men can enter as many times as they want.

Remember the case in Texas where the cheerleader's mom hired someone to "hit" her competition?

This would make that look like a little league baseball game.

How sad. (LOL!)
Most of my husband's family and a chunk of mine are German. The only ones not weird and whinney are employed by Silicon Valley. Very strange people. They have seen Hitler and socialism and still they clamor for more.
When I tell them about our Constitution they look at me like I'm from Mars.
I'd like to publically thank my ancestors for leaving that hell hole. Way to go grandpa!!!!!!!!!!!
