As I remember (not always a reliable indication) there was a post on FR a couple of years ago that detailed an incident were a tour bus stopped at a highway historical marker in Arizona - while others were reading the bronze plaque, two men (either Chinese or Arabic) wandered off to the nearby highway bridge over the major East-West rail line and began photographing bridge supports.

I have no idea who the poster was - but I believe the post was around the time that the Wen Ho Lee spy case was in the news - so that would make the men probable Chinese.

The poster commented that this was a significant bridge because with one act you could disable both East/West highway and rail traffic going into LA/San Diego.

what about the one where 2 arabs are arrested in Atlanta with a couple of video cameras strapped on to a traffic pole, aiming at downtown Atlanta... when busted they said they were "doing a traffic study".

someone help me out here, I remember this for a fact.
