Jamie Dimon’s days as CEO of JPMorgan Chase are numbered — though its unclear by how much.
In a response to a question Monday about the bank’s succession planning, Dimon indicated that his expected tenure is less than five more years. That’s a key change from Dimon’s previous responses to succession questions, in which his standard answer had been that retirement was perpetually five years away.

OK. No surprise there. Jamie Dimon is 68 years old and worth about $2B. Time to enjoy what’s left of his life.
Wouldn’t that be true whether he said it or not? How could his retirement get farther away?

Heard he wants to run for President in 2028.
I’m happy he’s staying another five years... he might have a liberal heart but he’s got a conservative brain.
That’s a truism. It’ll always be closer than ever until he actually retires.
Or prepare a WH run for 2028. One never knows.
He will need the rest of his time confessing his sins.
