The foreign-born or immigrant population (legal and illegal) hit new record highs in March 2024 of 51.6 million and 15.6 percent of the total U.S. population. Since March 2022, the foreign-born population has increased 5.1 million, the largest two-year increase in American history.

However, the CIS and the Population Survey analysis subtract the number of foreign born who die, or move out of the USA, in the same time period, so the final number always has a downward adjustment.

I live in Mexico. I know my neighbors pay Drug Cartels big dollars to get across the border. Yesterday a single mom left town with her 3 year old son. The son has no passport. The dad won’t sign for him to get a passport to leave the country. The lady has no visa, HOW do they get across? I have no idea, but the border for sure in NOT secure like the DHS says.
In my local CostCo in So Cal - you’ll hear every language except English.

Going to the store was like visiting the United Nations cafeteria during hate America month.
I went to our local Sam’s Club in Northern Virginia last Tuesday, and I was one of a half dozen whites in the entire store, including employees. I heard maybe 10 languages there. At least most of the employees could speak some English.
