President Biden argued that it never occurred to former President Trump to take a competitive stance against China, while rolling out a slew of actions Wednesday intended to protect the U.S. steel industry from Chinese exports.
Biden was in Pittsburgh at the United Steelworkers headquarters touting the new actions, which involves him calling on the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative to consider tripling the existing 7.5 percent tariff rate on Chinese steel and aluminum imports.
The president also said to boost competition with China, he has revitalized partnerships in the Pacific with countries like India, Australia, South Korea, the Philippines, and he has advanced technologies that can’t be sent to China in order to protect U.S. national security
“For all this tough talk on China, it never occurred to my predecessor to do any of that,” Biden said.

imo its outright election year propaganda
the ‘ rats are digging deep and biden is coming up with nothing but this crap. lie, lie, lie thats his whole life and this admin
Competitive?
When you can literally use human “slave” labor how is a dignified American labor force going to compete?
The only way to make it Competitive is to “TARIFF” the imports.
Get rid of Income Tax, make each State pay a tax per person on the Census for defense, and the remaining costs for Federal Government must come from Tariffs.
“It never occurred” to Biden that China has a competitive advantage over the USA. It’s called slavery.
Does Puppet Biden now propose America pay slave wages to compete with China? /spit
They must be talking about the tariffs Joe is implementing. The same ones Trump had on China, but Biden and the media criticized him for them.

IIRC, Trump put tariffs on lotsa goods. Biden took them all off.
Also, Trump sanctions on the Nordstream2 pipeline from Russia to Germany, Trump Iran sanctions, etc.
Anything Biden says 180 it except the gibberish what ever that is he’s a habitual liar punk that only knows how to suck up for a buck no matter what it costs the country.
I am not sure if these people are so stupid as to actually believe this nonsense, or whether they are just a bunch of Goebbels-esque liars. Which has been the dilemma regarding the last two damn presidents: “are they monumentally stupid, or are they lying traitors?”
Trump did more to call out China, and to narrow our trade deficit with them, than Biden could ever hope to do…particularly since Biden is more or less owned by the CCP.
Biden’s minders probably cringed when they heard him babbling. You can accuse Trump of many things, but this is definitely not one of them.
We need to reinstate the Chinese Exclusion Act.
Well, Joe does have a lot more business experience than President Donald John Trump. 🤡
Given all the articles The Hill published on Trump and China, they should have an easy time explaining this. Of course, they won't.
It’s amazing how much they lie.
Trump was the first one in decades to do it.
Biden has backed down on some of it, but for the most part the foreign policy establishment has followed Trump’s lead.
Of course they won’t give him credit.
Trump said the emperor had no clothes.
President Retard already lost his shot term memory
“The Biden Politburo: ‘It never occurred’ to Trump to take competitive stance on China”
>>WTF is this moron talking about?
My thoughts exactly.
Biden and his followers are dumber than a sack of rocks.
Wow! Just think if Trumpster would have only sent Janet Yellen to go and bow before the CHICOMS!
Just as an aside, the 1958 blockbuster film “Ben Hur; A Tale of the Christ,”
was banned in China under the regime of Mao Zedong for containing...........
“propaganda of superstitious beliefs, namely Christianity”.
