FOLSOM, Calif. — Folsom police arrested two people after they attacked someone and used homophobic slurs on them at a Folsom park, officials said Friday.

The person who was attacked was sitting alone in the park painting near the gazebo, the police department said. That's when two people, later identified as Newton-Allen and Archer, held the person down, punching and kicking them more than 50 times. At the same time, the two were using homophobic slurs and keeping them from escaping.
Them? I thought only one one person was attacked

So in the minds of progressives, which is the greater crime? Physical assault or homophobic name-calling? I'm guessing the latter. Everyone seems to have forgotten the saying we had as kids: "Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me."
If I have no respect for the person, why do I care what they call me? The insult "deplorables" just bounced right off me.
