Something flipped after WW1. Instead of government existing for Americans, it now exists to exist.

They stole 2020 in broad daylight with no consequences whatsoever. Why would they allow a free election ever again?

There is no way RFK Jr is going to win the election.

I guess the spoils system wasn’t so bad, compared to the alternative.

Maybe they can't be fired but their jobs can be abolished forcing them to bump someone of lower seniority in another location and job for which they are qualified. Failing that they become redundant and are terminated. It has happened before, there is still no law requiring payment and retention of someone whose job has disappeared.

What we need is to abolish entire departments and agencies. I doubt very seriously if anyone would even notice some of them are gone.

The only problem I see is the effect on the economy of too many job losses too quickly. Even though it is funded by loans and deficit gooberment is part of the economy in the short term. You gotta break a few eggs to bake a cake. Oh well, get on with it.

Hope trump has a fool proof plan to crush them and purge the agencies for good

Is the OPM an Executive agency, with the President as its boss? Biden revoked Trump's EO, so why can't Trump revoke Biden's?

These nameless people in government think they are omnipotent. They truly do have a 'them-against-us' mentality.

You can protect the workers all you want. All Trump has to do is create an executive order and announce that all federal employees need to have Obamacare. It saves the taxpayer billions and provides better care as well as the same access to your existing doctors.

Then sit back and watch the liberal heads explode.

For one thing OPM doesn’t make law so the “rule change” point that civil servants are permanent and can’t be fired and have the job for life is pure BS.

Using that logic Merrick Garland, Mayorkas, Wray, etc would never leave they’d be the same as SCOTUS a lifetime appointment.

He can replace the SES heads, re-rate all the upper level management as 2 and below for non-performance, which allows for removal (if…if the agency is on one of the newer performance pay systems).

This “rule” will never pass Constitutional muster. The President is the CEO of the Executive branch.

Period.

I have said this before, and I will say it again.
On inauguration night, at his speech, he should state:
I hearby issue executive order #00001.
This order revokes every single executive order issued since the dawn of our nation. It’s too broken to fix. We are going to start over.
This will automatically eliminate any presidential cabinet positions not installed by congress. And the resulting offices, and all personnel associated with it. It’s kinda throwing the baby out with the bathwater, but this is where we are.

The simple fix is to flat out cut 1/2 of the number of "agencies". With that you eliminate about 1 million from the swamp right off the bat.

Since the swamp is 97% traitor and 3% patriot. I have no problem with a 3% casualty rate.

From there further cuts can and should be made.

Counting the chickens before they hatch. This race has a long time to go, giving the RATS plenty of time to work their phony vote machines.

The Deep State may have blinked, but they are not yet gone and they have ties to powerful leftist politicians and organizations including some funded by foreign governments with the intent to do harm to the US. Trump’s presidential campaign has become a juggernaut while Biden continues to drop in popularity even in what were considered unassailable Democrat voting blocks. While their lawfare crusade is crumbling and has little chance a putting Trump in jail before the election. Sadly there is one desperate means of stopping Trump, political assassination. There are certainly bad actors even in government employ who have the training and means to assassinate Trump. There are also many in the government, Congress and the media who would secretly rejoice were that to happen. Should a Trump landslide appear inevitable such a desperate move would not seem unthinkable.

President Regan set a president by firing air traffic controllers back in the 1980’s. It will be difficult for courts to overturn mass layoffs.

I find it far more interesting that half the desks in the federal bureaucracy sit empty.

Where did thousands of bureaucrats go?

My present theory is that they are dead or incapacitated from kung flu shots. Who, after all, are most susceptible to propaganda than the propagandists themselves? My guess is that these brainwashed bureaucrats loaded up on every kung flu shot available and suffered the consequences.
