A constitutional right that will be so restricted that it has no chance of being exercised is not a right.đź“ś

What’s next? $500,000 cash for a gun purchase application fee? Two year waiting period? All weapons to have one round capacity limit. $900,000 to buy one round of ammo. Any family from a school shooting incident can ask for a cash settlement in the millions per person.

But enjoy your constitutional rights.

Settle this loophole BS. Buy needs background check or a CCW or equivalent, whether private party or through an FFL. Simple as that, everyone does it or no one does it. And, if you have a CCW, then that should be sufficient to show you are legit legal buyer, no further paperwork, etc. required.

Here in Nevada, CCW can go to an FFL, buy gun, fill out form, show CCW, and walk out with purchased gun. Sadly, they screwed up the private-party transfer to the $$$ benefit of FFL dealers, wherein a CCW holder has to go through a background check each time, just like a non-vetted buyer. Maybe gets fixed but not if money is lost in the process.

Bottom line is that I'm not opposed to basic, simple background check if it is the same for all parties, allowing for pre-cleared via CCW, etc.

TAXPAYERS aren't paying for this. They couldn't. It's too money.

They are just printing the money.

More Americans say they are living paycheck to paycheck this year than in 2023—here’s why

Here’s a novel idea: Arrest bad guys and put them in jail instead of letting them go free to commit further offences.

Ole Moderate Joe doing more “moderate” stuff... ya know, just tryna help “folks” and so forth...

Joe Biden is and always has been a Far Left ideologue (among other things). It’s remarkable how the GOP has let him get away with pretending be something else.

So if you sell a car on Craigslist, will you need a business license? If you sell your home yourself will you need a real estate license? See how stupid this is? Just one more illegal over reach by this tyrannical administration. Become ungovernable.

Not the first in this thread to say it, but the ‘gun show loophole’ never existed.

What they are really trying to outlaw is private citizens from transferring a firearm to another private citizen without government permission.

Let’s have transaction receipts for all the gun buybacks too.
