Zelensky’s Chief of Staff Vows ‘No Compromise’ with Russia, Claims Country Wants to Keep Fighting

President Volodymyr Zelensky’s chief of staff said this week that there will be no “compromises” with Russia despite fears that Moscow will seek to capture more territory after the failures of the counteroffensive last year.

Andriy Yermak, one of the most powerful figures in the Zelensky government, told POLITICO that Kyiv will not accept any terms in which the lines of conflict are frozen and that Ukraine will not accept any agreement that infringes upon its borders.

These guys are fully aware that of the war in Ukraine will be the end of the Zelensky regime members. They have the most to fear from the Ukrainian people themselves. So they are going to drive this train right off the collapsed bridge. They could care less how many people get killed and maimed and how much of Ukraine is destroyed in the process.

Zelensky is trying to force a large scale Russian military push that will generate a crisis in the hopes that force NATO to intervene directly into the conflict.

Both Zelensky and Tony Blinken are posturing to widen the conflict and bring NATO into the war.

Yes, the elderly & disabled, and boys in their early teens want to keep trying to dodge conscription while they grieve for other males among their family and friends seized off the street in broad daylight, given a weapon and very little ammo, and sent to the front lines unprotected from air assault. They want to fight until the last citizen is dead, now that everyone who could escape to be refugees in other nations has gone, and the infrastructure to support life has been flattened, leaving nothign to fight for, but the god of NATO.

A middle-aged couple from Ukraine moved into my neighborhood. She has a translator on her phone, so we talk occasionally. Very nice people, actually. He came over and shoveled snow for me. And she brought me an advent calendar with cat treats for every day. (My cat hates them, but oh well.). They still have a daughter in Ukraine and a cat.

They’ve been out of town for a few weeks, hope they haven’t gone back to visit the Uke hamburger grinder.
