It should be obvious by now - as long as NATO exists, the US deep-state will thrive and the Republic will be slowly strangled to death.
Sounds kinda coup ish.
When Trump regains the WH, it will be a good time to make some overdue changes.
Assist the EU in forming their defense forces and meld NATO into the EU military.
Disband NATO and bring the US assets home.
Re-draw our relationship and support of Europe from a solid line one to dotted line one.

These demons in Europe are seriously planning to starve billions of people by pushing ever more “green” restrictions on farming, to name just one of their endless string of horrific plans. They don’t just want to kill their own populations, or even millions of Jews, they want to kill a large portion of the entire population of the Earth, and subjugate those remaining under a tyrannical global government. It’s ludicrous to keep describing them as “allies” when they are the most dangerous people on the planet. But if we withdrew from NATO we could at least distract them for a while with having to deal with their own populations who would be furious when their U.S.-subsidized welfare states suddenly began to crumble. And we would no longer be funding their tyranny.
Trump is the one who initiated the whole process of shipping large quantities of weaponry to Ukraine.
Obama refused to send any weapons to Ukraine. He only sent pillows and blankets!
I’m for Trump’s pro Ukraine polices. His pro-weapon stance for Ukraine (he put in place in 2017-2021) must continue.

This is more complex than simply invading a neighboring country; I’m not thrilled with it, but I understand this hopeless war is grinding down both populations.
You mean the Soviet Union, correct? Because that included Ukrainians, FWIW.
The nations that have escaped the Soviet Union are mostly our friends and allies now, we all knew the USSR was Russia and mostly used the words interchangeably, and no, we were not trying to conquer and absorb South Vietnam and make it part of our nation.
That’s how you’d like to envision the USSR, but the fact is it was NOT just Russia.
So. Vietnam asked for assistance, and we responded. The ethnic Russians asked Putin for assistance, and he responded. They were being marginalized in areas where they were clear majorities, with the use of Russian alongside Ukrainian in government business (for example), so they decided they didn’t want to be part of Ukraine anymore.
I won’t carry water for Putin or the Russians living in the Ukraine, but look into the causes of this conflict before assuming this was just a bully attacking a neighbor. The Russians within Ukraine’s borders see a different bully.
Putin is attempting to conquer Ukraine and absorb its wealth and agriculture and important coastline into Russia as a major step toward rebuilding the Russian evil empire.
Sweden and Finland saw something that you aren’t and even Switzerland and Austria are discussing seeking NATO membership to avoid what they see as the long-term goals that Russia has of step by step rebuilding empire.
