Democratic strategist James Carville warned Sunday that the Democratic Party’s eroding numbers among young minority voters are “horrifying” heading into the presidential election.
“I’ve been very vocal about this,” the former Bill Clinton campaign strategist said on his “Carville’s Classroom” podcast. “It’s horrifying our numbers among younger voters, particularly younger blacks, younger latinos … younger people of color. Particularly males.”
“We’re not shedding them, they’re leaving in droves,” he added.
Last year, 66% of black adults leaned or identified as Democrat while 19% said they leaned or were Republican, according to a Gallup survey released in February.
The 47-percentage-point spread is the lowest in at least 25 years — and down 19 percentage points from 2020, when 77% of black adults identified as Democrats and just 11% identified as Republicans.
Similarly, the poll found 47% of Hispanics calling themselves Democrats and 35% identifying as Republican, whereas in 2021, 57% of Hispanics identified as Democrat and 26% said they were Republican.
Both demographics are key Democratic voting blocs, and like his party, President Biden has also been hemorrhaging support from black and Hispanic voters.

Based on what I have seen, he is overstating his case. We don’t travel in the same circles, though. I see him at homecoming about every other year. Believe it or not, he’s capable of having a good conversation.
By the millions, and they’ve been imported to Florida, Tennessee, Texas all the red states. They’re going to fast track them to get drivers license and citizenship. I think the big story here, potentially, is that Hispanics are Americanizing and they're rejecting the woke and socialist crap from the Democratic Party.

Not to worry. Sometimes young people can get confused, but they do want to be helpful. If necessary, the DNC can jog your memory, or even fill out the entire ballot for you, whether you’re on hand or not.
It's already happening. Florida and Texas are both heavily hispanic. Yet both are strongholds for the GOP. It depends on the demographics and local politics.
Obviously, that's not the case in New York and California. But you can say the same thing with the white voters in both states voting for the Democratic Party. A part of it is that the Party Machine is powerful in both states and they get to influence the people living in their states how to vote. So the GOP is not even bothering to compete.
It’s only a problem if they can’t find enough fellow travelers (criminals) to run their bogus ballot operations. Are the criminals leaving the Rats in droves? Not likely - it’s the Rat Syndicate’s money (grafted from tax-paid boondoggles IMHO) that butters the criminal’s bread.
