I have a 2002 Chevy short box PU.Small block V8.Still runs like a top and looks almost new.
The can ban all thenew gasoline powered vehicles they want. Mine will run for another 40 years .Thee isn’t a single electric vehicle made today that can run for 60 years, even with proper servicing and upkeep.
My Chevy will be going long after todays EVs turn into piles of lithium rusted steel.

that is true- many poor people stay poor by continuing to smoke- but many have also quit being forced to consider family over personal gratification because smoking became too expensive

That idea of banning the registration sounded too far reaching so I had to look it up. You are correct! No new cars registered after 2030. Crazy. Luckily my uncle has a country place...

OLYMPIA, Wash. - Gov. Jay Inslee signed into law last month a bill that sets a date of 2030 for all new cars registered in Washington state to be electric.
According to the bill, this applies to all vehicles of the model year 2030 or later that are sold, purchased or registered in the state.
