If Russia is such an awesome superpower, the decadent west is so weak, the sanctions and weapons given useless, and Ukraine is even worse, why has the war gone on for two years?

Naa, the French and Latvian troops will be located and whacked by Russia - not all of them, but enough to make the rest leave. The Polish troops will be allowed to stay as Russia has all but promised them Western Ukraine.

Time was on their side, but you have a good point, in that France won’t have much left at home beyond some female Genderarms, so striking before the remaining French forces in Ukraine run back home would make sense. Also striking before the French start building up to seriously fight Russia would make sense, as the ability of the French to fight their upcoming civil war will be determined greatly by the size of their military,

France is known for taking its own path. I’d rather see just about any other nation going into UKR. Thet have first world military tech which the Putin regime may not be ready for. For example, their ASAT resources. Should RUS target FRA forces directly it could get more dynamic quickly.

The Russian air defenses supposed to defend Iranian leadership in Syria are not up to the task of defeating IDF air planes. Russian war ships have entered the Red Sea where they ineffectively support the Houthi assault on world shipping.
Russian terrorism rolls downhill to those who support the war crimes in Ukraine get ostracized.

Its looking like the end game for the war has started in Ukraine. Mr. Zelensky is looking desperate and will do anything to pull in NATO Troops or Americans. Only new manpower and better weapons will save the day. He will strike at Russian Motherland with poison Gas, Dirty nuke, Simple Bio Weapons, anything to provoke a response and secure help. Maybe set up an event where Americans die so he can get his war. He doesn’t care about US lives—heck, he doesn’t care about his own people. He only cares about himself and his fortune. If Russia wins, his life is forfeit. He get an Ice-pick in the skull of a glass of polonium in his tea.
