The 87-year-old pontiff led Easter Mass at the Vatican in front of thousands, despite concerns over his health.

Referring to conflicts around the world, the Pope pleaded not to "yield to the logic of weapons and rearming".

"Peace is never made with arms, but with outstretched hands and open hearts," he said.

Tens of thousands of worshippers gathered in St Peter's Square to hear the Pope.

That’s the right message for the Pope to make. He is a man of “peace”, remember?

Ever notice that fat chance and slim chance mean the same thing? Interesting that a pope would ask one group during the rememberance of the death and resurrection of Christ who replaced Christ with Mohamad and the other group who at that time was responsible for the death of Christ as they didn’t believe in him (and still don’t). So what audience is he playing to to ask in the name of Christianity to stand down? They aren’t giving him a dog in the fight and they don’t care what he asks about. Fat or slim chance it’s going to happen.

“Yield to the logic of weapons and rearming”? TF does that mean to people who don’t start shit? Who was doing that leading up to and on October 7th? What are the rest of us supposed to do, just commit suicide?

LOLOL!!!

Really? Then why has he never asked for Hamas to stop murdering Jews?

Why has he never decried the Hamas Covenant, which calls for the complete extermination of all Jews and “infidels”.

Please spare us the excuses for this commie anti-Christ.

Usually the Pope is not supposed to get into politics like that. Pope Benedict XVI would have said the same thing.

Usually, they say some sort of generic comment to advocate for peace.

Francis is worthy of criticism. But this is not one of those areas.

I guess Catholics. Which doesn't make much sense. Or maybe it's nobody.

You’re right. As far as I know, the pope hasn’t sent them into the war yet.

There may be a cease fire in Ukraine on Easter. That would be May 5th this year.

Quite possibly, Vlad today has absolutely hammered Ukraine , the largest missile attacks to date. All power stations east of the Dniepner unplugged, damaged, Command centers all across Ukraine getting Kinzhaled and Iskandered, a total smack down.

Kinzhals and Iskanders are used only on high value targets. As for a cease fire, Vlad offered cease fires during the past holidays and St Z declined…..this war will continue to the “ Last Ukrainian “, as the West has stated.

Did the Pope make any comments about China intimidating Japan, Taiwan, and the Philippines?

What about the Pope’s view on Transgender Observance Day?

Did the Pope say anything about all those migrant Muslims attacking little girls in Sweden?
