They want to do this to every river in Oregon. They could not care less about the salmon, only the destruction of capitalism.

"Climate Change will bring new challenges to the West’s water supply..." So proclaimeth the hand tools at Trout Unlimited! It's not "climate change" you dumb pukes that's the challenge, but rather your doucheness! I quit that organization years ago over their "global warming" garbage which of course the left dropped in favor of the "climate change" canard. BS..they will always be stuck with warming, just like Sears Tower will always be Sears Tower, Ft. Bragg will always be Ft. Bragg, etc.

In a few years I expect to read something like this.
“The deaths of millions of people was primarily a function of farmers not producing enough food due to govt regulations. This outcome, though unfortunate, is a learning opportunity for regulators who did not realize the importance of food in keeping people alive.”

Turned the whole river into a mud flat, useless for fish. But their intentions were good. So they say.

Consequences, intended or otherwise, are always of secondary importance to progressives in search of “perfection”. Their harebrained social, fiscal, environmental etc. schemes are driven by their collective neuroses; and a fanatical belief in their brilliance.
To be engaged in activism and change for change's sake, that's the thing.

To leftists, the only thing that matters is intention, not outcome. They meant to do well, so the fact there was a horrible (and predictable) outcome is of zero import. Plus, maybe they can try the exact same thing somewhere else, hoping for a different outcome.

Let's face it... the Government are EXPERTS at being so INEPT that they've become Professionals at "Screwing up a FREE LUNCH at a Sunday School Picnic!"

“It is unfortunately typical that when government actions harm the environment, agencies spend more time deflecting blame than addressing the problem or being held accountable.” It's the government's default response.
