Someone else probably said this in other comments. Have not read them yet. But isn’t this the most blatant form of trying to make political points off someone else’s suffering? They don’t care. True care would be in private.

I agree. There’s no need to publicly post this other than to score points. They could easily have sent a private message of support, but that wasn’t the point.
