As authorities clamp down on fentanyl distribution and the amount of heroin produced in Afghanistan decreases under the Taliban, criminal enterprises have turned to a deadly alternative. Some health agencies in Europe are reporting a rise in deaths and overdoses from a type of synthetic opioid that can reportedly be hundreds of times stronger than heroin and up to forty times stronger than fentanyl.
2-Benzyl Benzimidazole opioids, commonly known as nitazines, are a class of synthetic compound developed in the 1950s as painkillers, but which were never approved for use as medicines. Because of their potency, compared with natural opioids such as heroin or morphine, they can be much more addictive and more dangerous. Nitazines have been linked to a significantly greater proportion of overdose deaths in Estonia and Lithuania, and have been linked to overdoses in Ireland and on the French island of La Réunion.
Rising use of the drugs has also been noted in the U.S., where they've been dubbed "Frankenstein opioids," in recent years, and they have been labelled a public health concern by the Drug Enforcement Administration.

It’s the Colon Blow of opioids.

The baseline (1) is Oral Morphine
Fentanyl (50-100 times oral morphine)
Carfentanil (10,000)
Lofentanil (10,000-100,000)
note: this table is outdated. Some 200+ Fentanyl analogs need to be added.
2-Benzyl Benzimidazole opioids, commonly known as nitazines, are likely quick and inexpensive to produce, leading to them being used as common narcotics.
Whitey just can’t get over his “white as cotton balls privilege” guilt.
This is just a replay of the 19th centuries opium wars on China but with the rules reversed. America is led by cowardly garbage. The federal government of the U.S. and most of the State governments have lost the Mandate of Heaven.
Bingo. They are getting revenge for what we did to them in the 18th and 19th century.
I am not in favor of people using illicit drugs, but we should have learned by now that our “crackdowns” do not work. The war on drugs is a failure.
We made cocaine expensive; so they turned it into crack to sell it cheap while much more addictive. We cracked down on crack, so the market switched to crank (which had been around in various forms, but now called “crystal meth”). Cheaper and more potent and more likely to cause schizophrenia. Then we started locking up doctors and pharmacists for overprescribing pain pills (and yes there were some doctors who were just acting as pill mills), but we had no plan for the people who became hooked on them so many of those people switched to heroin. But heroin is expensive, is a plant that has to be grown, and difficult to smuggle so the dealers switched to synthetic fentanyl which can be made in 55 gallon barrels in the jungle... like the makeshift meth labs in campers but now also made in Mexico with Chinese ingredients.
The supply will never stop as long as there is demand. We need to attack the demand. I voted against legal weed I could see many problems with it and now see more problems I didn’t see, and I am not really in favor of legalizing other drugs. But we need a better system. I think we’d all be better off if doctors - legit doctors - were free to treat people by prescribing pharmaceutical pills. Sure people will abuse them... but they would also be forced to see a doctor regularly who can intervene, require counseling, and intervention and weaning people off. No pusher on the street is going to check your blood pressure and heart rate or mental health or even care much if you die. I’d rather see functioning pill addicts than zombified or dead street drug victims.
They ship synthetic opioids because they are easier to hide being such small packages..
During prohibition moonshiners would run the batch through the still three times to approach a 100% ethyl alcohol.. or XXX so that they could haul 3X the load in the same space in the trunk or whatever.
With something very concentrated, like the synthetic opioids you need the skill of a compounding pharmacist to safely measure and mix such concentrates down to pill form or whatever...
The result is doses that vary wildly in potency and an addict has no way to judge what they are taking...
If I recal correctly it was a horrible time for the Chinese. Our garbage establishment needs to feel our pain.
Try selling narcotics in the PRC and see what happens.
“We” didn’t do anything to to the Chinese. That was Britain and the British East India Company that flooded China with opium.
White is white in their eyes
The George Floyd Dispensary???
When are we going to learn how much “residue” is passed from a human body into the water treatment system?
There are no FILTERS of CHEMICALS that can render this residue safe.
Yep and they have very long memories. They have theater plays that talk about the evil people of the west and the opium wars and the Chinese hero’s that saved the nation from the evil of opium and how they vanquished the perpetrators. Don’t under estimate Chinese for generational payback.
Come on Doc, can’t you give me something just a bit stronger?
Carfentanil is one of the drugs used to tranq elephants.
I wondered what you could put into a ballistic syringe that only holds maybe 20ccs that could knock out an elephant in just a couple of minutes, so I looked it up.
People are always crowing about ketamine being a horse tranquilizer. Wahl, carfentanil is an elephant tranq.
We sold a crap load of opium to China in the 1800s. Whe followed the British model and grew herion in Turkey and bought H in India and sold it for goods in China. The US did gunboat diplomacy and gots outrageous deals for China trade and protected opium sellers with legal tricks. It is assumed the FDRs great grand father Delano was dealing and part of the Rosevelt fortune was old drug money. They were the most famous family involve but you can bet a lot of other made good trade money from the sale.
Isn't that how it is now?
That's B.S. The British were doing it, but the U.S. pushing opium into China by the 1780s, and by 1820, the U.S. surpassed France and were selling the 2nd most, behind only Britain.
Even people like Washington Irving and John Jacob Astor were involved.
You don't think the U.S. was involved? Why don't you go look up how FDR's maternal grandfather made his fortune.
