I don't see peacetime foreign aid listed in Congress's constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.
In fact, Justice Joseph Story had explained that peacetime foreign aid is unconstitutional.
“ If the tax be not proposed for the common defence, or general welfare, but for other objects, wholly extraneous, (as for instance, for propagating Mahometanism among the Turks, or giving aids and subsidies to a foreign nation, to build palaces for its kings, or erect monuments to its heroes,) it would be wholly indefensible upon constitutional principles [emphases added].” — Justice Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution 2 (1833).
That being said, patriots need to IMMEDIATELY primary ALL worthless, state and federal Trump-hating celebrity incumbent lawmakers and executives up for reelection this year, except for MTG, Gaetz & Company (and others?).
Incumbents need to be replaced with Trump-supporting patriot lawmakers in November so that hopeful Trump 47 will not be a lame duck president from the first day of his second term in office, but will be supported by the new Congress to finish draining the swamp.
Johnson is very weak. He’ll cave after a couple of days or weeks negotiating with himself.

A shame this POS McConnell is not as concerned with our border as he is with Ukraine.
McConnell didn’t express much interest in waiting weeks or maybe months for the House to come up with an alternative proposal to help Ukraine.

Well, John shouldn’t “express much interest” in aiding and abetting McConnell’s handout to the defense-industry.
I think the message is quite clear.....nobody wants to soak Ukraine with more of more without any results but destruction to themselves and their country...ad continual loss of land......... Zelesky wants World War...has been thumping his bible since day one for that. He’s been using the Ukrainian people from day one as fodder to make that happen.
The polls I posted, not to mention common knowledge, show that there is no position that "nobody wants."
Zelensky wants his country rescued from a takeover by invasion, not a war at all.
