It is not Russia's every demand, but some accomodation between the desires of both sides.
What about Ukraine's desires to maintain its sovereign border, which Russia agreed to in 1991? What about Ukraine's desire to make Ukrainian the language in which children are taught and legal documents drawn up, similar to the movement here to make English the official language of the US. I don't see any talk about Ukraine's wants/needs except from the Zeepers as you call them. In fact, if someone is against another nation maintaining its culture and borders from foreign invaders I'd have to wonder just how dedicated s/he is to protecting our own.
Guess they should have thought of that before they went back on the Minsk agreement...

It truly shows the parasitic and one-sided nature of this Alliance. As well, it shows that the countries supposedly being protected make less than a half-assed effort in their own defence.
Europe has a substantial larger population and GDP than North America. If they can't be bothered to pay for their own defence, why should anyone in North America pay ONE DOLLAR to support these fools ?
2023 top 10 NATO countries in defense expenditures as a % of GDP are, in order of said %:
Poland, US, Greece, Estonia, Lithuania, Finland, Romania, Hungary(!), Latvia, UK (2.07%)
Poland and the Baltics are high (so to speak) spenders because they have colonial interests in Africa, etc.?
OTOH, France is only 1.9%.
Generally, the countries low on the list have buffer countries between them and Russia. Greece being an exception (high, at 3.0%), but they have Turkey to worry about. Turkey conversely is low, but is poor per capita and has a very large population to provide it’s vey large military manpower. Russia would TRULY be fools to invade Turkey.

Collectively, the Euro NATO countries are up to 2% now., and all bordering Russia are well over 2%. By his own statement Trump would be abandoning only countries such as, say, Germany, which certainly is not going to be invaded by Russia in the near or intermediate future. For all practical purposes, for now, the Germans can "get away with it" regardless of what Trump applies to THEM.

Each side has an ideal desire and something they are willing to accept.
Negotiation is coming to an agreement.
It doesn’t occur until both sides want peace - or one side defeats the other and imposes what it wants.
There is a cost to both options.
So now only russia wants peace ?
