You should be skeptical of any Republican who went from being a lawyer to an elected official, and especially one that has only been in the Senate for a little over a year. Her response to the SOTU was horrible, and she has accomplished nothing to even be considered as a candidate to be a heartbeat away from the Presidency.

Pretty sure that Katie Britt was NOT on the short list for Trump’s VP selection.
This endorsement from Mitt Romney put the torch to that once and for all.
She was a Mitch McConnell protégé when running for the seat. I believe Trump had somebody else in mind for the same seat.
McConnell won out.
