Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, whose NATO-member country has sought to balance its close relations with both Ukraine and Russia, offered during a visit Friday from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to host a peace summit between the two countries.

Ukraine can win, just two more weeks…
Erdogan just might pull it off.So to speak.
If not, Putin can be assassinated. End of Problem.
The Turks are good at such things.
Is Erdogan the no-labels flavor of the month?
End of problem?
Are you retarded?
I think Turkey was trying to have peace talks previously until Boris Johnson took a flight.
Excellent, dementia jo where are your peace efforts?…oh that’s right you want to send billions more for munitions and kickbacks…
I would think it more likely than not, that Putin’s replacement would be just as hard line on Ukraine if not more ruthless.
Perhaps Putin IS giving the war effort there all they have to give, non nuclear? I suspect Russia still wins a more protracted war by demographics. Now if Trump wins and reverses the green nonsense, big upticks in oil production and falling per bbl prices could put a damper on Russia’s ability to afford to continue the Ukraine invasion, yes?
“Ukraine should sue for Peace.”
Of course, but the last time they tried, early in the war, we told Ukraine “no-dice, you’ll have to fight Russia”. Of course the Deep State people here will deny it, even though it is very-well documented, just as they claim that Russia’s invasion was unprovoked, so we’ll just have to deal with their spamming again.
“If not, Putin can be assassinated. End of Problem.”
Agree, his likely successor, Medvedev, will simply flatten Ukraine, possibly with nukes.
I just want Ukraine to kick Russia’s butt and send them back to Russia where they belong.
“I think Turkey was trying to have peace talks previously until Boris Johnson took a flight.”
Yep, that was it. Ukraine had agreed in principle to Russian terms, which were quite good, including that they get all of Donbass, but the problem was that Russia would also come out strong, no longer with a hostile neighbor. That was too much for the Neocons, but now with Nuland out, perhaps we’ll allow Ukraine to finally talk again with Russia.
I think Putin’s replacement would likely be more of a hardliner.
Especially if Putin was assassinated. A message would need to be sent.
Putin knows the West is fickle. He also is likely to have all of the Ukraine that he wants by January 2025.
Russia is capable of accepting more pain and death than the West will.
Sunk cost wins again.
Check out this video of an S-300 being destroyed by Russia. Do the Neocons REALLY want to send in NATO troops to have to deal with Russian missiles?

Estrogen wants Crimea - his price for a successful negotiation.
The more that die, and the more hardware used, the better. (For them)
Risk taking males die, betas live.
Goods are consumed.
With the troublemaking Nuland baud out of the way, don’t be surprised if this “Special Military Operation” winds down quickly.
“Estrogen wants Crimea - his price for a successful negotiation.”
Considering that virtually everyone there is Russian, I don’t think he’ll have much luck with that goal.
“With the troublemaking Nuland baud out of the way, don’t be surprised if this “Special Military Operation” winds down quickly.”
Could be. The Neocons don’t control the timeline in Ukraine. If Putin wants to make life ‘difficult’ for the Democrat nominee, he could hold off until September or October to liberate Kiev, for example.
