Hacker Forum Post Claims UnitedHealth Paid $22 Million Ransom in Bid to Recover Data
Rest assured your medical information and whatever financial data you pass on to your health providers and insurance companies is safe and secure. Right? When my physician's office gives me a form and it asks for my SS number, I leave that spot blank. There is no use assisting the hackers in stealing my idenity.
Right now, drugstores can’t process payments with medicare. Peoe have to pay out of pocket in some instances, or receive smaller amounts of their meds. I went yesterday to get test strips and my druggist asked for $162 out of pocket.
FUNNY how everything worked so well when we were kids.....
Went to doctor-—paid the bill-—
NO RECORDS ANYWHERE OUTSIDE of Doctor’s OFFICE.
