A federal appeals court Monday rejected restrictions that Gov. Ron DeSantis and Republican lawmakers placed on addressing race-related issues in workplace training — part of a controversial 2022 law that DeSantis dubbed the “Stop WOKE Act.
The workplace-training part of the law listed eight race-related concepts and said that a required training program or other activity that “espouses, promotes, advances, inculcates, or compels such individual (an employee) to believe any of the following concepts As an example of the concepts, the law targeted compelling employees to believe that an “individual, by virtue of his or her race, color, sex, or national origin, bears personal responsibility for and must feel guilt, anguish, or other forms of psychological distress because of actions, in which the individual played no part, committed in the past by other members of the same race, color, sex, or national origin.”
In court documents, the state disputed that the law violated speech rights, saying that it regulated “conduct.” It said businesses could still address the targeted concepts in workplace training — but couldn’t force employees to take part.
But the appeals court flatly rejected such arguments Monday. It described the law as the “latest attempt to control speech by recharacterizing it as conduct.

Racist judges.
Forced workplace training.. is extortion, you WILL agree to this and abide by it or you will be fired on the spot. My experience when working for a municipality where a woke speaker was assigned to the facility to instruct the employees on thier agenda. All had to attend or else disciplinary action would be taken, sign in sheets were strictly enforced. One of the many topics that was not to be questioned was the right of a man dressed as a women using the ladies room. Many women were in attendance and not one said a word out of fear. This is a sick evil plan to destroy our rights, family morals and values and to endanger our families especially the children, DEI, BLM, WOKE is cancer. This is a targeted plan
Supreme Court already ruled that racism is bad.
The lower court is out of line.
Compelled speach and compelled listening is not free speech. It is one thing to have to attend training on safe welding practices or safe coffee pot operations if you are in the federla government. It is quite another to have to take training to teach you "safe" political opinions in the workplace. It is a page right out of the disinformation training manual 1984.
If one is mandated to take this ‘training’, then it becomes (forced) CONDUCT...not just ‘free speech’

We have many 1st Amendment and other Constitutional rights, none of which give someone the right to a particular job.

As an employer, I’m far more concerned with the work my employees do on the time I’m paying them for.
