In the wake of the Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel on October 7, Joe Biden's public support for Israel has been a thorn in the side of the antisemitic wing of the Democratic Party. Since Israel has taken the fight to Hamas, Joe Biden has been under pressure to not only provide aid to Gaza (and thus Hamas) but to support a ceasefire. Joe Biden hasn't exactly been a friend to Israel, but that doesn't seem to matter to pro-Hamas Democrats.
Public support of Biden's handling of the war has bipartisan disapproval, and there's likely little he can do to please both sides. But now Michigan Democrats are sounding the alarm, and warning him that his failure to support a ceasefire could cost him the state in the 2024 election. According to a report from Politico, Biden's team "doesn’t appreciate the depths of discontent from Arab American and young voters over Biden’s response to the Israel-Hamas war." A protest vote in the state's primary is planned for next week, but even that "won’t give them the wakeup call that’s needed."
“I’m still surprised that they’re not taking this more seriously,” said state Sen. Darrin Camilleri, who supports a ceasefire. “I feel like this is 2016 all over again. It feels like our national party is not listening to our issues on the ground. If the president doesn’t change course, I would not be surprised if Biden loses the state [in November].”
Trump currently has an average lead of +4.6 points in Michigan, according to the polls tracked by RealClearPolitics.

I think democrats are beginning to believe Biden will lose, so they’re going to concentrate on taking back the house and keeping the Senate so they can obstruct everything and impeach Trump just for taking office. Of course, they’d like to have it their way with all three. They have lots of money to blow on propagating their lies on things like abortion.
Sick how politicians pander to the blocs that have needed votes. Biden thought he’d pretend to support Israel but found out there are more women who had several children each plus more immigrants causing there to be a lot of Muslim votes. Jewish people barely meet the “replacement birth rate.”
So he’s selling out Israel and pandering to the Muslims.
How bad is it that America’s largest political party has to genuflect to the same kind of people, the same religion-philosophy that killed more than 2,000 Americans in cold blood on 9/11.
And people will say America is a super-power, mightiest country in the world. Yeah sure…paper super-power.

Local news on Detroit stations have had several part series last week of person on the street and leader interviews of local Muslims. Dearborn and Hamtramck are large centers of Arabs. Hamtramck was the first US city to go to an all Muslim government-—mayor and all council members.
A large majority said they have turned against Biden and will not vote for him or send him money. Leaders in local large mosques said they are greatly disturbed by Biden’s support for genocide by Israel-—as they allege it.
There have been marches condemning Israel.
He’s lost Michigan no matter what he does now.

and people will say Biden catering to Hamas over votes somehow reflects on US might, world supremacy......Yeah sure...$200,000,000,000,000 debt/unfunded liabilities and the USD is still the unparalleled king of earth with no suitable replacement even in existence.
And if he does cave to the pro-hamas faction, it may cost him more than that.
