TRUMP: Are you listening to the U.S Senate?

@simonateba

JUST IN: Trump writes, “From this point forward, are you listening U.S. Senate? No money in the form of foreign aid should be given to any country unless it is done as a loan, not just a giveaway.

“It can be loaned on extraordinarily good terms, like no interest and an unlimited life, but a loan nevertheless.

“The deal should be contingent that the U.S. is helping you, as a nation, but if the country we are helping ever turns against us, or strikes it rich sometime in the future, the loan will be paid off and the money returned to the United States.

“We should never give money anymore without the hope of a payback, or without "strings" attached. The United States of America should be "stupid" no longer!”

I’ve said for over two decades, one way to clean up the US is for the government to never, EVER give money to ANYONE for free. Period. Yeah, that includes welfare, snap, medicaid, etc.

It doesn’t include Medicare, SS and Unemployment. People actually pay for those things.

Israel does not need the money. Its our military complex that wishes the money to be spent on their weapons.

I have often wondered why money is always just given to these countries with no strings attached. I understand China loans but redeems - with natural resourses or other valuable.

Exactly 50 years ago at this time, "The American", a spoken-word song by Canadian Byron McGregor was storming up the charts. (Gordon Sinclair, another Canadian, also had a hit with the song.

It sounds a little hokey to today's ears but the words are still relevant and nothing has changed. Nobody, and I mean nobody, has ever come to the aid or even given a dime to the United States of America.

In which case, Israel and any other recipient nation should pay cash or sign a loan agreement.

Not that I know but it did occur to me that maybe the ‘strings’ are not visible.

Theres nothing to stop the welfare recipients from working a few hours a day...

Part of the benefits could be free childcare while they work...

They dont need schooling to do dishes or clean offices or do manual labor...

(or pick crops)

Yes. On welfare. You have to get up and do what?, ten hours of community service labor a week. Don’t like it? Get a job. How many times at 5:30 am did I not want to get up? About 10 thousand. But I did.
