I give Biden about 60-75 days before he is guided to take a
long walk off a short pier.

They can’t pull this stunt for another four years, and they
know it.

I see Newsom out there in public, but I see him as not
playing a leadership role. I still think Michael is the
go to girl/guy er a who knows...

Newsom may get the VP slot. Kamala is also a bridge too
far for their future.

What I don’t understand, is why Jill let him do this on Thursday.

If he did it on Friday, or better yet for him on Saturday, it’d have gotten lost amidst the Super Bowl and Lunar New Year celebrations.

Everyone knows you dump relevant news on Friday.

Jill is a shrewd elder-abuser. She knows better than this.

I’m really puzzled over this one.

I’m thinking 2-3 weeks and he’s gone.

“I see Newsom out there in public...”

He is working hard to pretend to move to the center -DAILY-.

Not if Harris is POTUS at the convention. I believe the 25th is no more than 3 weeks away from being invoked. Pres Harris who was the AG and Senator from the country’s largest state and who was 3+ years VPOTUS is not going to go easily.

I think they will keep him, as long as they can maintain a Weekend at Bernie’s-level of image. Incumbent presidents have a HUGE advantage. Plus, replacing him would create a civil war with the party. I don’t see a unity candidate. Some people would be angry if Harris was bypassed. And others would not think the governor of a blue state is a good choice. Etc.

Maybe if they hid him a good bit (like in the 2020 campaign)...he could slide by the remaining 11 months to exit.

But the past hundred days have been a stress on the guy, with an average of ten screw-ups a week. His hyped-up speeches? One gets the impression that he’s on some type of drug (on these speeches, you notice he doesn’t blink).

VP Harris would move up. I don’t think she’d select Michelle Obama or Gov Newsom as her VP. I’m also wondering if she gets fired up to announce herself as the candidate and try to corner the convention.

How many times does Michelle have to say no before anybody believes her? She hated being in Washington when Barack was president.

This possibly was the actual offering up of the sacrific on the alter? Perhaps the PTB feel Biden’s usefulness is over?

If the Dems run Michelle, she wins, and the country is lost forever.
